Host your wedding ceremony outside on the mountain, beneath a tree or covered in the Nature Stage. Feast in the gorgeous Glasshouse with its festive long tables, exquisite natural decor and dreamy light. The space can seat up to 40 guests and accommodate up to 60 guests for a canapés or cocktail style reception. There are ample opportunities for beautiful wedding photographs set against the mountainside, in the flower gardens or in the lovey and wild corners of the farm. Veld and Sea offers a rustic nature-inspired wedding venue resting against the beautiful fynbos mountains of the South Peninsula and bordering Cape Point Nature Reserve. The cycles of nature are the muse for the space and can be felt in each detail. The surrounding wildness seeps in with changing landscapes, colours and textures. All structures on the farm have been hand-built using wood and up-cycled materials. The space is decorated with found objects from adventures along the coast, walks on the mountain and thrifted in curious towns throughout the country. The wedding venue is situated on a working nursery and homestead with abundant food gardens, chickens, pigs, goats and access to a private mountain lush with fynbos, birds and incredible views of Scarborough and Cape Point. The Glasshouse The glasshouse can seat up to 40 guests comfortably and bigger groups of up to 60 guests at a canapé and cocktail-style wedding reception. The wooden trestle tables and benches can also be removed to reveal a warm and welcoming movement space with wooden floors. The reclaimed glass windows, wooden panels and glass framed sliding doors allow the natural surrounds and light to soak into the space. Nature Stage Our eco amphitheatre lends itself perfectly for wedding ceremonies. The flowing organically shaped tiered-seating and decking is sheltered and seats 40 guests comfortably, with space for more with the additions of chairs or benches.
