Chapel
The Greenhouse Chapel is a unique highlight of Lieu De Grace. Featuring exposed roof trusses and large sand blasted windows which create picture perfect diffused light, the chapel is open, light, and airy with added greenery.
A greenhouse filled with plants from the entrance to the chapel. The bride will make her way to her groom down a 30-meter-long isle, which can be decorated with petals, Persian carpets, etc.
The combination of the greenhouse and chapel offer couples the opportunity to create a whimsical and romantic ambience, without adding too many decors or frills. Its simplistic building style allows for various looks to be created and the options are truly endless.
Should the need arise, an outside ceremony can alternatively be arranged under a stretch tent or large gazebo, on any of the terraced areas surrounding the venue.
Reception
The Reception Hall is a light-drenched, warehouse-style, boasting whitewashed brick walls, exposed steel beams and cement floors, offering a smooth dance floor.
An open floor space of 240 square meters offers ample room for unhindered movement, and a total of 20-180 seated guests can be hosted per event.
French windows and doors on both the left and right side of the entry hall, open into the main hall. Seven magnificent arched windows on the West side of the main hall allow for natural light to flow through. Natural light, a photographer’s dream, floods the entire hall from morning till sunset.
On the East side of the main hall, sliding doors open to an enclosed veranda overlooking the lower grass terrace where the firepit area is situated. This area is also used as the smoking area. This 100²m area can be covered with a stretch tent for the small intimate wedding held in the garden. String lights surrounding the area at night, creates a soft ambience for a romantic setting.
After the reception comes to an end at midnight, the boma can be used as an intimate gathering place for your remaining guests.
