Creating a real-life Medieval Castle in the Highlands of the Eastern Free State was a task of epic proportions. A 2-Part Mission undertaken with vision, patience and sensitivity, Castle construction was completed by the dedicated and unwavering Fogg family at the beginning of this century. A journey started with the building of a road clear up a mountainside. All the way through intensive international research and sourcing, to the final resting of hundreds of tons of natural sandstone on a working farm estate already rich with natural beauty and steeped in cultural history. Destiny Castle is visual testament to what can be achieved over time with, exactly as their motto says... "Love, Risk, Persevere." Weddings incl. accommodation and meals for up to 22 persons in associated accommodation. 8 People overnight at the Castle, with the additional 16 housed in local establishments.
