- CCynthia Peek07/02/2024.so wonderful..so wonderful.I am a local, an was born here.it was very nice.log ago my wedding respction was held their when it was the Inn On The Plaza.Grove era was the restaurant on top floor.so wonderful. It has been redone an is very pretty I do think that u should give a discount to the local people that have lived here all of their life.also a senior discount. - DDoug Gooch07/02/2024FantasticFantasticMy wife and I just returned from a July 4th stay at the Renaissance Asheville and I can tell you the other hotels in Asheville come no where close in customer service. Brittney at the front desk was exceptional and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of way beyond our expectations. I mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary and when we returned to our room from dinner there was a bottle of Champagne and a box of fantastic chocolates. My wife and I just returned from a July 4th stay at the Renaissance Asheville and I can tell you the other hotels in Asheville come no where close in customer service. Brittney at the front desk was exceptional and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of way beyond our expectations. My good friend had the entirety of his wedding ceremony hosted here and every amenity exceeded out expectations. Between the lounge area, the bar, the outdoor seating area, the rooms, and the penthouse, it really was the focal point for the weekend. We found ourselves wanting to spend more time there than going out to any of the local bars due to how nice everything was. It can be pricy compared to other hotels in the area, but it is absolutely worth it.Such a unique place. My good friend had the entirety of his wedding ceremony hosted here and every amenity exceeded out expectations. Between the lounge area, the bar, the outdoor seating area, the rooms, and the penthouse, it really was the focal point for the weekend.
