- SSarah Welch08/02/2024Our wedding was AMAZINGOur wedding was AMAZINGMy fiance and I also got married there last week, too. First thing's first...our wedding was AMAZING. We had it in the Wedding Pavilion outside overlooking the sunset! It was a dream! I literally pinched myself during the ceremony because I couldn't believe it. Our wedding planner, Debbie was a dream to work with. She went above and beyond all of our expectations and when one thing didn't go quite well, she made up for it and then some! She also surprised us with champagne in our room. My fiance and I also got married there last week, too. First thing's first...our wedding was AMAZING. We had it in the Wedding Pavilion outside overlooking the sunset! It was a dream! I literally pinched myself during the ceremony because I couldn't believe it. Our wedding planner, Debbie was a dream to work with. She went above and beyond all of our expectations and when one thing didn't go quite well, she made up for it and then some! She also surprised us with champagne in our room.

I think like every place now they are experiencing growing pains with new staff and tons of guests, but my experience over 8 days here was sensational. We also got hitched here, and their wedding guru Megan was FANTASTIC! She truly cared about us as people, not just a churn and burn event. The banquet staff was also exceptional and I would be remiss not giving them a tip of the cap for a job well done. 10/10 would get married here again (but hopefully won't need to!I really liked this place. I think like every place now they are experiencing growing pains with new staff and tons of guests, but my experience over 8 days here was sensational. We also got hitched here, and their wedding guru Megan was FANTASTIC! She truly cared about us as people, not just a churn and burn event. The traditional Hawaiian ceremony in their beautiful chapel was simply amazing and more than we could have ever asked for. they made the ceremony truly memorable. Also, get your Spa Treatments at the Hilton Salon. Speak with Bita (Manager at the Kohala Salon), she will help you with your appointments and was so very helpful. We have received many compliments from the photoIf you are thinking of getting married in Hawaii, we highly recommend the Hilton at Waikoloa Village on the Big Island. The hotel is located in the cute village of Waikoloa which is worth the visit. It gives you instant happiness! The property is so amazing: the beaches (wild with lava rocks but also sandy with calm waters), the well maintained gardens,the view on the Mauna Loa (and the beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The staff is the best! They are so polite and helpful. We got married at the Hilton and we are so grateful for the once in a lifetime experience.Our stay at the Hilton was beyond any expectations. The hotel is located in the cute village of Waikoloa which is worth the visit. It gives you instant happiness!
