Our wedding spaces are licensed for civil ceremonies including our Italian Gardens so you can say your vows beside the manicured lawns and water features. Grand vaulted ceilings and original fireplaces set the tone for weddings in The Old Library whilst the light and airy Evelyn and Wotton Suites provide a modern backdrop with direct access to the gardens. From the moment we first visited the previous year to view the venue, we knew it was somewhere special, but on the day itself, it exceeded every expectation. The hotel is a beautiful and historic building, and arriving up the long driveway gives you a real sense of just how special the setting is. The gardens are equally spectacular and added so much to the day. They are immaculately maintained, with a perfect balance of formal elegance and natural beauty. Although it was March, we were lucky to have warm, sunny weather, which meant we could hold our drinks reception outside. The Italian gardens and temple created a stunning setting for photos, with their terraces and sweeping views providing a truly picturesque backdrop. The Old Library, where we held our ceremony, was truly breathtaking. It has an incredible sense of character and romance, with its historic charm and elegant atmosphere creating the perfect setting for such an important moment. Walking into the room as the bride felt magical, with the church-like vaulted ceiling, the columns adorned with fairy lights and large floral displays. So many of our guests commented on how stunning and unique it was. It provided a beautiful, intimate backdrop that made the ceremony feel even more meaningful. The food throughout the day was excellent and incredibly generous. From the canapés during the drinks reception to the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet, everything was delicious and plentiful. The evening food in particular was a huge hit and was enthusiastically enjoyed, completely wolfed down by our guests! What really set Wotton House apart for us as the bride and groom, however, was the professionalism and care shown by the entire hotel team. From the early planning stages right through to the wedding day, everything was handled with efficiency, warmth, and attention to detail. The staff were always approachable, organised, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly, which it did, happily without a hitch. On the day itself, their calm and confident presence meant we could relax and fully enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. Jodie, our wedding coordinator, was extremely efficient, a joy to deal with, and very responsive throughout the planning process. Although she couldn’t be there on the day, Lauren, the Deputy General Manager, oversaw the wedding brilliantly, with Bill, the toastmaster, expertly shepherding everyone into place to ensure the day ran perfectly to schedule providing a real sense of ceremony. The venue as a whole is simply fantastic. The grounds are picturesque, offering countless opportunities for memorable photos, and the overall setting feels both grand and welcoming. We got married in September and had not only the most perfect wedding day (totally perfect) but the perfect day before and after (with lots of our guests choosing to stay the night before and night of - which was a real bonus), making it feel like a wedding bubble all weekend 🤍 Everything ran so smoothly thanks to Hanna and Tracy, and we didn’t need to worry about a thing. The planning was such an enjoyable experience with Hanna’s help - we had so much fun bringing our dream to life. The getting ready room was incredible - the perfect space for getting ready with your girls, the old library - is just wow it felt like something out of a fairytale - it still takes my breath away just seeing the photos and the grounds are absolutely stunning (and the perfect place for pics). The Evelyn Suite was the perfect space for our evening celebrations with a great dancefloor included which was filled all night! We also had a sparkler tunnel outside in the evening, which the team took care of fully which was perfect! They gave us a beautiful tour of the venue and allowed us to change our honeymoon suite stay to the night before (as we were staying near the airport the night of). They provided a filling breakfast and champagne to myself and bridesmaids the morning of the wedding. The day was seamless - if anything went wrong I wouldn't have know (and still don't know to this day). The staff were all super friendly and accommodating, and I can't imagine getting married anywhere else! Wotton House is absolutely stunning. It completely has the “Wow Factor”. The house itself is charming, the gardens are so beautiful and everyone there is always so friendly and helpful. When we made the decision to go with Wotton House as a venue, we were very excited about all of its possibilities. In the lead up to the wedding, our wedding coordinator, Vicky, was always at the end of the phone to help us. The menu tasting with our parents alongside was a real highlight and such a great afternoon. We could make the wedding day very much as we wanted – we had freedom and advice along the way and there were so many options and flexibility to make the day feel special and very ‘us’. The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect! We stayed separately the night before the wedding and enjoyed a buffet meal with the bridal party, which felt really relaxed. We were able to set some bits up in the reception room and were allocated space for all the wedding paraphernalia which made it really easy for us. A lot of guests also enjoyed a comfortable stay, and it was delightful to be able to mingle with our guests in the bar the night before – and set the tone for a joyful celebration the next day! From being greeted in the morning to check all was ok, to carrying our card box back to our room at the end of the night, all of the staff were incredibly helpful to us all day. It felt like we had a team of people beside us, making sure it went without a hitch. We were waved off to the church and once we got back, were greeted with a drink. Tim, the Toastmaster, was wonderful and a real added bonus; he was fantastic at orchestrating the day – particularly in the numerous group photos! There were plentiful drinks at the reception, a brilliant atmosphere and little touches, like being served our own canapés to ensure we got them. Onto the Reception, and the food was truly outstanding. Every course was delicious and what was great was that we were able to alter the meals EG by adding extra vegetables. Everyone had great things to say about it. The service was excellent throughout and couldn’t have been better. The evening buffet food (we went for the Greek option) was also fantastic and received many positive comments. We went to the Old Library for the gap between reception and evening, and this is such a beautiful space. The size of Wotton House makes the day so interesting for the guests as there are many different areas. The gardens are gorgeous and meticulously cared for, which made for a stunning background for our photos, and a great spot for garden games! Similarly, everyone being able to stay at the venue ensured people stayed until the end and we could all have breakfast the next morning. We had a wonderful wedding and were so pleased with how everything turned out- the food choices were excellent and we were kept well supplied on drink throughout the day too, with food/drink kept aside for the bride and groom too. The team and our suppliers worked well together and made our day feel as stress-free as possible. The little touches, including keeping a space aside in the restaurant so we could gather with guests the morning after for breakfast, were really nice and were appreciated by all! We did have a couple of issues that emerged (largely out of the control of the venue!), but these were handled professionally and in a satisfactory manner by our wedding coordinator Annabelle and the management team respectively, who we were very grateful for.

Every wedding is so different, we couldn't possibly choose! We love seeing the wedding plans come to life, the personality behind each couples choices and seeing how in love they are on the day. That is what we love so much!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
We would definitely say delegate tasks to your loved ones! You have people around you that love you and want to help in every way possible! So take the pressure of yourself and enjoy the process as much as possible, don't let the wedding planning stress, takeover the happy moments!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We would have to say the live painting artists! They take photos of your wedding guests and paint the photograph for guests the takeaway! What a memory to keep hold of!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There is no doubt it would be our beautiful Italian gardens and our temples! Our newlyweds always share their photographed moment infront of the temple with us, and every time, it takes our breath away!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We are very lucky to have had some fabulous famous faces here at Wotton House. However, we really respect their privacy, so we're afraid, it's our little secret!
What’s your favourite canapé?
When the whole office shouts 'Arancini balls!' - That has to be the WINNER!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Who doesn't love pizza especially from the wood fired pizza van! What's your pizza topping must?!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our Old library is just stunning and we truly believe it has the biggest wow factor in Surrey for your ceremony aisle! Our Italian gardens are next! The photo opportunities and the jaw dropping view, wows our guests every time!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We would have to say the team at Wotton House! Every single team member is dedicated to their work and making your day the best it can be! Our staff are passionate, hard working & always go above and beyond!
