The Thatch Barn

I had my wedding at The Thatch Barn a couple of weeks ago and it was the most magical day thanks to Sanchia and her team. The venue was absolutely beautiful and you can decorate it as much or as little as you want and it will still look stunning! Sanchia was absolutely brilliant in the run up to our wedding and on the day. She made us feel so welcome and reassured in every way possible. Sanchia was so helpful and never made us feel like anything was too much trouble. Our guests had the most wonderful day and were so complimentary of the Barn and Sanchia and her team. I could not have wished for a better day at The Thatch Barn! Thank you Sanchia and to everybody at The Thatch Barn!!

My now husband and I wanted a venue that felt intimate, rustic and rural and The Thatch Barn ticked all of those boxes. A stones throw from the stunning Holy Cross church, we walked just across the road to the beautiful barn providing a slick transition from service to reception. Sanchia and her team were simply amazing in creating a welcoming atmosphere to us and all of our guests and helped immensely in advising us on schedules for the day and the finer details. Having access to the Barn the day before and after the wedding meant that we had ample time to set up and collect and our needs were fully catered for in terms of table arrangements, decorative features and catering. We cannot recommend The Thatch Barn enough for future couples wanting the perfect venue.

We knew instantly that this was the place for our special day. Sanchia and her team were very helpful with lots of ideas to help us create our perfect day. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue many times over, your selves and your staff were so very polite and helpful in every way possible, so thank you for making Beth and Nicks day so perfect and a day we will always remember and of cause the wind , so thank you all 👏👏

There are no other words to sum up our wedding day other than absolutely perfect! From start to finish Sanchia and her team were absolutely incredible - nothing was ever a silly question and she helped us so much on every step of the way including the planning process. I can honestly say I was a stress free bride! The Thatch Barn is the most beautiful venue and we can not recommend it enough. From the views, the beautiful barn and the perfect church location across the road (if you're thinking of having a church wedding, this is also ideal!). We had the most relaxed, beautiful wedding day all thanks to The Thatch Barn and could not have asked for anything different. Thank you!!

I couldnt recommend The Thatch Barn more! Sanchia and the staff go above and beyond to make the day as special as it can be. They organised absolutely everything on the day/evening that we were just left to enjoy ourselves and not give anything a seconds thought. All of the guests had nothing but nice things to say about the friendly bar staff. The barn itself is beautiful it’s everything you can imagine and more. It’s simple, elegant and creates such a romantic relaxed atmosphere. We were given the opportunity to explore the grounds and take some amazing photos which also gave us an opportunity to escape and enjoy some bride and groom time. If we could do it all over again we would in a heartbeat!

Amazing venue and team Sanchia and the team are fantastic, we had the most amazing wedding day and that wouldn’t have been possible without Sanchia. With Sanchia also being a florist, it took away another thing to worry about. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Thank you Sanchia and the team at the Thatch Barn!

The most perfect wedding venue From first getting in touch with Sanchia, we felt so welcome. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and has everything you could need for a weather in good or bad weather. You have the freedom to make the venue completely yours! The catering options are brilliant, On the day, Sanchia and the team made all of our guests feel so welcome. Sanchia informally made sure that the day and timings went smoothly, and couldn't have done more to make the day perfect.
