My new wife and I had our wedding here last Friday (28th July) and we couldn't recommend the suites hotel highly enough as a wedding venue. Everything about the day was absolutely fantastic.
Firstly, our events co-ordinator, Becky, was always there when we needed her and nothing was too much for her. Right from the original booking to the day of the wedding she was happy to answer any questions we had and was always happy to help us with the constant changing of numbers in the build up to the wedding. Becky organised everything behind the scenes with all the external companies and took all the stress away from us so we could get on with other things.
The Operations Team on the day were brilliant as well, setting up the tables for the wedding breakfast through the night and ensuring the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Everything was set up our wedding party arrived from the church and all our guests were checked in very quickly so there wasn't any delays in the celebrations. The atrium had enough tables to seat all our guests while we waited for our wedding breakfast to commence and all the accessories we included in the wedding were on show for all to see.
The layout of the Courtney Suite for our wedding breakfast was excellent and the food was delightful, and plenty of our guests commented on this. Even if you never have a function here, I urge you to try the food in the Brasserie at the Suites as it's one of the best meals I've had in Liverpool. All the catering staff on the day were fantastic and all our dietary requirements were catered for (one of our party even had her very own waitress who looked after her on the day).
We were then led back into the atrium whilst the room was set up for the evening, which we were shown before all our guests were allowed back in and it looked absolutely amazing. Tables were all laid out perfectly, the dancefloor was in a perfect position to access from all sides of the room, the buffet was second to none and the bar was fully stocked and fully staffed so you never waited more than a minute or two to be served.
A personal thank you from my wife and I to the Master of Ceremonies (I think her name may have been Allison or Claire, I'm not too sure) who was terrific throughout the whole day, she looked after us from start to finish and was happy to make any amendments if we had any.
A quick thank you to David who recorded our speeches on his phone and sent them to us, this was a very kind gesture of which we can't thank you enough. And a big thank you to all the reception staff, catering staff and hospitality staff who helped on the day, you made the best day of our lives run so smoothly and all our wedding guests spoke very highly of how much they enjoyed themselves.
Overall, I couldn't recommend the Suites more highly for a wedding venue. Everything about the day was brilliant and you'll struggle to find better value for money anywhere in the North West.
