Situated along the meandering River Mel, Sheene Mill is a charming, elegant family-owned country venue, exclusively yours on your wedding day. History embraces you as you say your vows in the 400-year-old flour mill or outside in our outdoor wedding pavilion suspended across the River.
With exquisite shabby chic interior design, beautiful landscaped gardens, luxurious accommodation and an exceptional awarding winning on-site Catering and Events Team, weddings at Sheene Mill are truly memorable.
Every celebration here is completely bespoke, whether you’re planning a lavish wedding for 110 or an intimate wedding reception and fine-dining experience with 20 of your closest friends and family. With exclusive use options, our versatile spaces offer numerous options for your ‘I do’ moment, your wedding breakfast and your evening celebration of up to 180 guests. We’re here to make your dreams come true.
The boutique style Venue is a hidden gem on the River Mel. The 16th Century traditional building boasts original features, open fireplaces, exposed beams and elegant interior throughout. Each room is made to look and feel different, enhancing the character throughout the building, enabling you the opportunity to make each room your own.

The venue is gorgeous, staff were friendly, competent, and helpful and the food was excellent. We especially liked the different spaces so we could have music, but also quiet and space for children and adults to walk and run! We stayed the night and all guests liked their rooms. We had our wedding reception at Sheene Mill and I cannot put into words how perfect the venue, service and food was. It was everything we ever wanted and the team were just fabulous looking after everyone with big smiles and warming atmosphere. Our friends and family couldn’t stop complimenting the venue. We opted for a buffet as opposed to a sit down meal and the food was brilliant, everybody loved it. We only looked at one venue and knew from the moment we walked in this was our place! We had our wedding reception at Sheene Mill and I cannot put into words how perfect the venue, service and food was. It was everything we ever wanted and the team were just fabulous looking after everyone with big smiles and warming atmosphere. Our friends and family couldn’t stop complimenting the venue. It has a wonderful laid back atmosphere that we wanted whilst I am pretty sure the staff are secretly running themselves ragged to ensure we have a fantastic day. The food was phenomenal and everyone commented on it. Helen and her team are very experienced and I would suggest just trust her, even when you are feeling very nervous and anxious around elements of organisation; she will guide you through. Beware of the little boat, someone will definitely try to take a ride in it!We got so lucky with this venue, particularly with the weather being sunny all day! It has a wonderful laid back atmosphere that we wanted whilst I am pretty sure the staff are secretly running themselves ragged to ensure we have a fantastic day.
