Ruthin Castle, Hotel and Spa

We had the most beautiful wedding at Ruthin Castle! Everything was perfect from the stunning peacock terrace (with actual peacocks!) where we got married to our gorgeous wedding reception in the Grand Salon. The setting was absolutely breathtaking and this was captured on all of our wedding photographs. The staff were so accommodating and kept us updated with everything that was happening throughout the day and nothing was too much trouble. All our wedding dreams came true with Ruthin Castle!

We could not be happier with Ruthin Castle and the wonderful team that works there. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The events staff were incredibly supportive throughout the planning process keeping in touch through regular emails and meetings. Getting married in a real medieval castle is a truly unique experience. Thanks again to the team at Ruthin Castle. They ensured a perfect wedding day for us and our guests. We can’t recommend them or thank them enough!

We both fell in love with the castle straight away. We both had the best day we could ask for. A massive shout out to all the staff working that day for making it so special. The day ran so smoothly. Honestly we can't thank you all enough. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. Would highly recommend Ruthin castle for a wedding but anything in general.

From the package on offer to the pre wedding communication to the day itself, our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. The package on offer includes absolutely everything you would want for your day. There was plenty of communication beforehand to make sure all the little things were in place before the day. The day itself, to say something is perfect is a bold statement, but our wedding was. The staff on the day couldn’t have done enough for us.

From the start of our vision for our wedding in the teepee the team at the castle were amazing, helpful, Jodie & Paige were exceptional in their roll of wedding and events so our wedding was the most fantastic day. All our friends and family said what an amazing day. All the staff are friendly, approachable and want to make your time there enjoyable. I can’t thank everyone at Ruthin castle enough for helping to make our day magical and memorable and making me feel so special as a bride.

Loved my stay here, would definitely like to stay again What a magical place from the time you go through the arch and round the meandering path to the Castle. Went for my Son's wedding and stayed 2 nights. From the time I arrived until I left I couldn't fault the staff they were very helpful and friendly. They catered for my gluten free diet with no fuss at all. My room was a spacious double overlooking fields. Would definitely recommend having a wedding here!

WOW. Thank you so much for all that you did to make our wedding perfect. I literally cried when I saw everything you had done for us. it really looked magical and you really did make our wedding look like a fairytale. I can not thank you enough for the lengths you went to. All the staff from the waiters/waitress to reception to the bar staff were all truly fantastic. We had our wedding at Ruthin Castle and it was a truly magical day. Jane and Paige were so helpful in the lead up to the day. And on the day, Jane, Adam and Peter as well as all the staff were so helpful! The event rooms were spacious and grand, food was delicious and the bedrooms were very comfy. I can’t wait to come back for our anniversary!

We had the most amazing day at Ruthin Castle getting married. The staff were so attentive and catered to our every need. Lovely, approachable and easy to get on with. Nothing was an issue. We opted for a afternoon tea style wedding breakfast (with plenty of rustic fries) the food was delicious. There was plenty to feed all of our guests and the food just kept coming. The set up of the room was stunning, hats off to the in-house decor company Marleys Magical creations. And boy did they turn our room Into something magical. A lovely touch towards the darker evening was when the staff lit the fire pit for our guests. It really was lovely. A huge plus for us was the surrounding land that our photographer was able to get some brilliant shots of us and our guests. We're so happy we chose Ruthin Castle as our wedding venue and we can't wait to go back there for our anniversary.
