Old Chapel Farm Estate is privately owned family grounds with a story that stretches back centuries. For generations, the Anker family have farmed and cared for this land, creating a place where its agricultural heritage sits naturally alongside a more contemporary approach to weddings.
Today, the estate offers couples something genuinely different: a collection of beautifully connected spaces, each with its own character and purpose. At the heart of the estate sits The Manor House, the private residence of the Anker family, who have cared for this land and its rich agricultural heritage for generations. As a family home, The Manor House is not part of the wedding venue or available for public access but the The Manor Gardens and surrounding land is open for your special day.
Your wedding celebrations take place within the estate's dedicated event spaces, each thoughtfully designed to offer privacy, character and an unforgettable experience, exclusively available for you and your guests.

The Old Chapel House & Lodge - Our Georgian Farmhouse with accommodation
Your wedding day can begin beneath the handcrafted oak pergola in The Manor Woodlands, with its bespoke timber aisle and intimate woodland setting. From there, guests can move into The Manor Gardens, inspired by elegant Italian gardens, for champagne, canapés and photographs before continuing into The Chapel Suite for your wedding breakfast and evening reception.
The Chapel Suite brings together contemporary styling with chapel inspired architecture and Georgian influences, illuminated by spectacular statement chandeliers. The estate’s iconic chapel doors create an unforgettable backdrop for those photographs you will treasure long after the day itself.
Licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests, Old Chapel Farm Estate can host your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception all within the estate, creating a wedding day that feels seamless from beginning to end.
For those staying overnight, The Old Chapel House & Lodge provides 10 bedrooms, including the Honeymoon Suite, allowing family and friends to remain together at the heart of the estate.
At the centre of it all is the story of Old Chapel Farm. The site once stood home to the medieval Chapel of Our Lady, a place of pilgrimage dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. The estate has since evolved, but its connection to the land and its history remains very much part of what makes it special.

- AAdam & Sian11/08/2026When we arrived at the venue, it took our breath away! May 2025When we arrived at the venue, it took our breath away! May 2025Myself and Sian got married here in May this year. From start to finish, Andrea was an absolute star. Trying to organise a wedding from living in New Zealand was not easy but she made it all so much more achievable, with video calls and messaging when needed. When we arrived at the venue, it took our breath away. The place is absolutely beautiful, had so much character and so much space for all of our family and friends. The weather forecast wasn't brilliant and we had planned to be outside but Andrea was very accomodating and found the perfect place for us to gather for our ceremony. Another beautiful spot on the property. We could easily have spent a week there. Hot tub, firepit area, pizza oven and outdoor cooking area, woodland, bar area with pool table and space for dancing, flexible seating and table arrangements, we didn't even get to make use of the awesome cellar! The bedrooms are all very spacious, cosy and many of them also with en suites. The honeymoon suite was a surprise as it had only been finished a short while before our arrival. Super grateful for that beautiful room to get ready in. We have 38 day guests as it never felt like a squeeze, there was so much space, even when we all had to be in out of the rain. We have two children and lots of our guests had children so it was great that we had the accomodation so close to all the action as our monitors signal could work and we could all carry on into the night! I would 100 percent recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding venue, a house for a family gathering, a quiet retreat, a party celebration or any event. It is truly magical and Andrea and the team are wonderful. We really hope to go back one day and will forever cherish the memories there.Myself and Sian got married here in May this year. The woodland area where our ceremony was is like something out of a fairytale. The whole venue is stunning and romantic. Its in the middle of nowhere surrounded by countryside and the occasional dear. The house and lodge are so beautiful and it was wonderful to spend a couple of days celebrating with our nearest and dearest. Andrea the owner is such a lovely lady, she's so friendly and welcoming and makes you feel instantly at home.Fairytale venue Old Chapel Farm is an absolute hidden gem. The variety of spaces available were unmatched and we wouldn’t have found anything as comparable, our guests absolutely enjoyed their stay and the wedding day.
