The barn is a blank canvas that you can make your own with loads of outdoor space to really make your wedding what you want. The best thing about oakwell hall is Jackie and her team. Always answering questions, calmness personified, timely and reassuring. Forever adapting during the day and going above and beyond with all the little details that made our special day absolute perfection. Thank you so much! You just need to enter the hall to be taken back by it’s history and magnificence and then it is dressed elegantly not taking away from its own charm. Jackie and the team did everything to ensure our day ran smoothly and went out of their way to add extra special touches to personalise our big day - including garlands in the hall to match my bouquet! We were allowed to have our photos taken in all the rooms which is an added bonus. We had the best day of our lives. Jackie is absolutely brilliant and made sure everything went without a hitch I highly recommend Oakwell Hall as the best wedding venue around.Oakwell Hall is simply the most perfect setting for a wedding being steeped in history and literally on our doorstep. I fell in love straight away and knew that where I wanted to marry. The charm, the features of the hall and barn, and the overall dedication of Jackie and her team made it a dream come true. There wasn't one aspect that wasn't perfect for us. We were married in the hall, which lends itself to being just as it is, or as we did with added aspects. There is a minstrel balcony so it's perfect for singers or musicians. The gardens are perfect for pictures as us the house. The barn is a lovely size and just ouzes charm and a wonderful simplicity that is hard to match anywhere else. Jackie and her team really care and it shows leading to and on the wedding day. The next day everything was packed up for us just to take away. We would recommend Oakwell hall for really memorable day.
