The Ribble & Abbey Suites The Ribble Suite can seat up to 80 guests for the Civil Ceremony, with our adjacent Abbey Suite accommodating up to 180 guests for a Civil Ceremony or Wedding Breakfast. We had our wedding at Mytton Fold in July 2024 and would like to thank them for making our experience so special. Unfortunately we had to cancel our initial wedding venue due to a series of negative experiences during the planning process, so we were a bit skeptical going forward. However, we knew immediately after our first viewing appointment with Paris Metcalfe that we had found a gem of a venue and were in safe hands. It is a beautiful, modern venue which has recently undergone refurbishment and has competitively priced wedding packages. The staff are all very professional and friendly and the food is great. We would like to thank Paris Metcalfe in particular who was utterly brilliant and there was no problem/ question/ worry which she was not able to alleviate or answer. She was always easy to contact, personable yet professional and seemed to have an unlimited fountain of knowledge around wedding planning, putting us completely at ease during what can be a stressful process. She took so much pressure off us and is a credit to Mytton Fold. The food on the day was exquisite and Patrick, Emma and Paris made sure we and our guests were looked after. Patrick was very helpful on our wedding morning in ensuring the ceremony ran smoothly and that everyone knew where to go. Emma was then on hand for us from the wedding breakfast onwards, and did a great job of ensuring all of our needs were taken care of with a smile. She even managed to help us escape for a private moment away from guests soon after the ceremony, with a selection of canapés and prosecco saved for us (which we probably would've completely missed due to the excitement/pace of the day). Staff at the front hotel counter were helpful and friendly, including assistance with check out/ check in from Louise Woods. We've had many guests (including our 86 year old Nan!) saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to- well organised, great food, friendly staff and overall fun! From initially going to look around the venue, booking, planning and hosting our special day the staff were amazing! Very welcoming, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent venue, clean and modern, amazing food, our guests have said it is the best wedding they have ever been to! The Perfect Wedding Day The Perfect Wedding Day
After searching high and low for the perfect wedding venue, we are so glad that we picked Mytton Fold to host our wedding reception! Right from the word go, they helped us to plan the perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a small, intimate wedding and our reception was held in the Ribble Suite which was perfect for the number of guests we had. The venue also has some beautiful grounds which we got to enjoy throughout the day and it allowed for some beautiful photographs. After searching high and low for the perfect wedding venue, we are so glad that we picked Mytton Fold to host our wedding reception! Right from the word go, they helped us to plan the perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a small, intimate wedding and our reception was held in the Ribble Suite which was perfect for the number of guests we had. The venue also has some beautiful grounds which we got to enjoy throughout the day and it allowed for some beautiful photographs.

Such a beautiful venue with the best staff! If you’re looking for somewhere where the staff really care about you and your wedding day this is the venue to choose. The food from start to finish including breakfast is outstanding and all of our guest agreed. Also, highly recommend to anyone who would like to have their dog at their wedding, very dog friendly venue. Thankyou for making our day so perfect!!Such a beautiful venue with the best staff! Outstanding service from mytton fold. Everything was made so easy with great communication. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done to make sure we had the perfect day. Where do I begin! I cannot begin to thank Mytton Fold for an incredible experience from start to finish. The entire planning process has been impeccable, nothing was ever too much to ask from any member of staff. Patryk the general manager, was on hand to help/assist with any query or support. His advice and generosity throughout our experience has been invaluable. Paris the wedding coordinator, was brilliant, her communication throughout the planning was again second to none.Where do I begin! Fantastic Wedding VenueFantastic Wedding Venue
We had our wedding reception at Mytton Fold back in September 2010. As my sister & cousin had both had their wedding receptions there I knew what to expect. We had an amazing day. The facilities are great. The scenery & grounds are amazing & enable fantastic photo opportunities. We were especially lucky as it was a gorgeous sunny day & rained all day the week after which is when we were originally due to get married. The rooms are great & had only just been refurbished when we stayed. The staff were amazing, extremely helpful and took any pressure off us. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better venue to have our reception at!We had our wedding reception at Mytton Fold back in September 2010. Our day was nothing but perfect at Mytton fold ! From the moment our party arrived we were welcomed warmly, nothing was ever difficult and all the staff were friendly and happy to help in any way possible. The food was lovely. The room was immaculate. The grounds beautiful on a cold winters day. The staff were all eager and it was smiles all round. The venue and hotel had a nice family feel. A comfortable place to let you relax and enjoy the big day! In particular Sarah was very professional but also incredibly personable. All emails and calls were welcomed in the previous months up to the day of my wedding ( and I made a few ) I thought the day could not have been better in any way, it was also very reasonably priced for the standard of food and service received.Our day was nothing but perfect at Mytton fold ! Best Wedding Ever!Best Wedding Ever!
My new wife and I had the pleasure of using Mytton Fold for our wedding. The venue and staff were extremely well turned out and every detail had been attended too. In the lead up to the wedding Barbara was always available to either sort out a minor detail or talk us back to sanity. I can't rate the venue and facilities highly enough, everything we wanted was there. If we had a problem (even if it shouldn't have technically been there's) then they owned the problem on our behalf. They really did go above and beyond when helping us. Neither myself or my wife had any experience organising a function of this size and Barbara and Sarah were so helpful they took most of the stress usually associated with these kinds of event and made it their own. The scenic views are second to none and it is worth a visit just for that. The restaurant has fabulous food and we've been back to enjoy the restaurant since. The main draw is the staff, Friendly, warm, considerate and above all they are willing to help. We will certainly be returning, whether it be for another meal in the restaurant or a short break in the hotel. We have an amazing selection of canapé options - but B&G favourite has to be our homemade sage & onion sausage roll with mustard mayonnaise.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

There's something for everyone on our evening reception menu, but our must have is individual charcuterie cups, filled with locally sourced meats, cheeses and plenty of other goodies.
