For your ceremony, choose The Old Forge — a romantic 17th Century stone barn with vaulted ceilings, rustic beams, and exposed stone walls, perfect for up to 100 guests. If you’re planning a larger ceremony, the main Lodge reception room can accommodate up to 160 guests.
The Lodge itself is bright, spacious, and stylish, making it an ideal spot for your wedding breakfast and evening party. Featuring high vaulted ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and a stunning glass arch window, it beautifully combines traditional character with modern design. The venue can host up to 180 guests for a seated meal and over 300 for a standing evening reception.

With its big window and bi fold doors letting all the natural light in is so beautiful. The whole building has a real special feel to it. Penny is outstanding and was so supportive from the beginning to the end. She was always on hand to answer my call to any questions that I had. The whole day was spectacular if you are considering booking your wedding here do it you will not regret it.The ceremony barn is breathtaking and the bar and big reception hall is such a special place. With its big window and bi fold doors letting all the natural light in is so beautiful. The whole building has a real special feel to it. Penny is outstanding and was so supportive from the beginning to the end. She was always on hand to answer my call to any questions that I had. The whole day was spectacular if you are considering booking your wedding here do it you will not regret it.

In the build up to our special day, they were extremely patient and understanding, providing us with all the information we needed and answers to the many questions we had. The day went so smoothly as everything was organised with military precision, and Penny was always on hand to help out in any way, wherever needed. Friendly, welcoming and 5 star service from start to finish - we can recommend Mounton Brook Lodge highlyPenny and the team at Mounton Brook Lodge are incredible in every way. Charlotte is such a wonderful person, she was so helpful and kind throughout the whole experience! The place identifies itself with the owner, you just have to be there in order to be able to feel what we felt yesterday❤️ Thank you Charlotte from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day so magical! After organising and reorganising multiple versions of our wedding Charlotte has been so helpful through it all. She has done her absolute best to accommodate everything we wanted with absolutely no pressure to do something we were unsure on. On top of that the venue is absolutely stunning and was so perfect for us. You can do a small intimate wedding or a larger one, it can totally do both. Thankyou so much Charlotte, through very challenging times your support helped make it all come together. We also stayed at the lodge accommodation for 2 nights which was amazing, so comfortable and perfect for bridal prep and the wedding night. The ceremony room is intimate and romantic and the reception room is perfect for a good party. We wanted somewhere where it would just be us and our guests and we wouldn’t be interrupted by members of the public and that’s exactly how it felt; like it was just us and our loved ones. The grounds also made for the most perfect pictures. Charlotte and Penny were always on hand with any queries or questions I had and Charlotte was very accommodating and flexible due to us wanting an intimate later in the day wedding. We had our special day with them on 30.07.2022. We knew from when we first saw the venue that this was the venue for us! The venue is just stunning, Charlotte and Penny couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating, they made the planning and running of the day stress free and so special. The day went perfectly thanks to Charlotte, Penny and her staff who were outstanding. Everything just flowed, and what the team did at Mounton Brook Lodge truly made our day very memorable and special. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was, and how outstanding Charlotte and the team were. The venue, food and experience was exceptional! We originally had our wedding booked for sept 2020 but unfortunately had to postpone not once but twice due to covid, and Charlotte couldn’t of been more accommodating even if she tried! Penny was a absolutely god send in the weeks running up to the wedding answering all of our questions as stupid as they might of been. Our wedding ran so smoothly from the time we got there to the time we left and the staff were incredible! The food was delicious in which the silence during dinner and the empty plates spoke for themselves. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how accommodating the staff were.
