Mayday Retreats is a unique outdoor wedding venue located in Bourne, in England's Lincolnshire region. This rural property is perfect for couples who feel most at home outdoors and need plenty of space to hold their festivities. Luxury wedding marquees provide couples with cover from the elements while creating a magical space beneath the stars to make their own.
Facilities and Capacity
Upon arrival at Mayday Retreats, you and your guests will have exclusive access to the grounds. The venue accommodates gatherings of 30 to 200 people, allowing you plenty of flexibility with your guest list. The lush and manicured lawns are nestled between miles of farmland and create a serene space to laugh, enjoy a delicious meal, and be merry. After a beautiful evening, you and your guests can retire to your on-site glamping tents, just a stone's throw from the festivities. If you love showing off your style, you'll enjoy designing each marquee and glamping tent to your liking.
Services Offered
Mayday Retreats aims to simplify your planning and provides access to their own catering and bar services, although they welcome outside vendors. Before the big day, they will help you fine-tune your plans and the perfect MC to lead your event. They are also happy to provide day-of coordination to keep things running smoothly. Although Mayday Retreats is not licensed for the legal aspect of your ceremony, couples are welcome to visit the register's office nearby before saying 'I do' at the venue. Nature-loving couples also have the chance to plant a tree or wildflowers, adding to the magic of this special day.

Lisa and her staff were incredibly attentive, relaxed and friendly. They thought of every last detail and everything went so smoothly! Despite torrential rain, the sun suddenly came out and they got hay bales out so fast to ensure we could have our dream wedding outside. Mayday retreats were also extremely flexible with accommodation and catering for some special dietary requirements for which we are extremely grateful fMayday retreats recently hosted us the most beautiful and magical wedding! Walking about on the day some guests spent time in the marquee and with the disco, while others stayed outside chatting on the hay or playing on the bouncy castle. I highly recommend choosing this venue for the perfect outdoor venue where your ideas are made a reality. We really wanted a wedding that moved away from tradition where guests could gravitate to their own preferred areas and Mayday Retreats really came through with this. Lisa is so laid back yet organised & accommodating.. Typical British weather we were up against the elements but Lisa @ the team had it all on hand . We had our wedding here 3 weeks ago and Lisa and her team were truly amazing. All of guests commented on what a beautiful wedding it was and how personal it felt. Food was amazing, staff were incredible and we would of happily of spent double the amount of actually did which we did.Absolutely amazing team who took all our stress away and gave us the most amazing day.
