Nestled in 15 acres of stunning gardens with a picturesque pond, York Barn at Villa Farm offers the perfect setting for your dream wedding. With exclusive use of York Barn, scenic grounds, and our on-site cottages, your special day is in expert hands.
Host your ceremony outdoors surrounded by beautiful scenic woodlands or indoors beneath our chandeliers and fairy lights in York Barn. Celebrate with up to 150 guests for the ceremony and reception, and 220 for the evening, surrounded by breath-taking views and rustic charm.

It’s great to hear you’re considering York Barn as a potential wedding venue. We pride ourselves on providing a wedding venue for couples to “enjoy your special day with everything in one place.” Here at York Barn, we are surrounded by 15 acres of picturesque countryside and only 4 miles from York City Centre, with the ability to sleep up to 113 guests over 13 cottages. We might be bias - but we think it's perfect! We'd love to hear from you so please do say hello!

A special thanks to Nicole and Ola, nothing seemed too much and they both always went above and beyond. The venue looked absolutely stunning and even the turtles in the pond made an appearance for our special day. The cottages were clean, cosy and the hot tubs were a great addition to get the weekend celebrations started. The whole weekend could not have been anymore perfect & we would recommend Villa Farm to any bride & grooms looking for a venue. The large bi-fold across the length of the barn and the covered patio made it the ideal hybrid indoors/outdoor space. Nicole was amazing and really hands on - nothing was too much trouble! What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our favourite personal touches we've seen at a wedding was when a couple printed a photo of each guest as their 'place name' and included a handwritten note for each one. It added such a thoughtful, personal touch, making every guest feel special and appreciated.

Nothing can beat a good old traditional Fish & Chip Cone!
