Wickwoods Country Club, Hotel & Spa

We had our wedding at Wickwoods, booked a spa day before and stayed two nights What a great venue- we felt so relaxed and looked after. Everything was under one roof and it took all the stress out. The attention to detail on the day was amazing. The staff did a great job and it was seamless. Our guests were very impressed- especially on the food ! Would definitely recommend- thank you to all the team there. We could do it all over again!

Our son and his fiancée had their wedding at Wickwoods on 1 October and it was absolutely perfect. Wendy, the Wedding Co-Ordinator went above and beyond to ensure their day went smoothly - her attention to detail, efficiency and kindness was second to none. All of the staff were so kind and helpful on the day, and the service they provided was impeccable. The food was amazing and the whole venue looked absolutely stunning. Thank you so much to everyone at Wickwoods - we will most definitely be recommending you to everyone we know. We will also most definitely be returning.

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Wickwoods Country Club and can’t praise the venue and staff enough and would highly recommend them to anyone. Because of the Covid pandemic, our special day was postponed twice and throughout what was a very stressful time, the warmth, compassion and practical advice from the events team was exemplary. Throughout the build up to our wedding and during the day itself, the staff at Wickwoods made us feel that our wedding day was the most important event to them, rather than one of many that they undertake during the year. The day ran fully to plan with no issues of any kind. The quality of the food was excellent and servings generous. Many guests at our wedding commented how wonderful the staff were and loved the venue. Our special day proved to be the one we dreamed of and we are very grateful to all the team at Wickwoods for playing such a big part in making it happen.

Thank you ALL so much for everything you did over the weekend of Sam and Holly's stunning wedding day. No one, including the wonderful ladies at reception, wiped the smile off their face the whole weekend and everyone was so quick to help with anything that needed doing, any queries we had, any special requests ..... We (Sam's Mum and grandparents ..... and no doubt everyone else, too ....... ) are full of praise for each and every one of you and also the lovely Ashdown party- planner ladies. Words cannot express ....... what a fabulous day!!!

I have to say that Fabricate did an amazing job with the decor! Absolutely fantastic, and great service too! Giggling Genie we’re lovely too - our friends even got them for their wedding too!

To the whole team at Wickwoods! We just wanted to say a huge thank you to each and everyone of you who worked so hard to make our wedding day so magical and a fabulous party. We have just had our wedding at this wonderful venue, and words cannot describe just how perfect the Wickwoods team made our day, the attention to detail was second to none. From front of house to the team behind the scenes, everything and everyone was just so obliging. The glasshouse is ideal for the wedding ceremony, and the garden room ideal for the reception, and the outdoor spaces ideal for all photo opportunities. Our wedding breakfast was delicious, from starters to deserts was absolutely sublime, all our guests commented on the quality of the food. Plenty of variety in the bar also, lots of beers and lagers and spirits available. We had all of the 6 rooms available upstairs and all the guests that stayed were very pleased with them. We had the bridal suite obviously, and it's massive, and has its own balcony. All in all a terrific venue to have your wedding, we couldn't fault it at all. Good morning, We wanted to send you a quick email to say a massive thank you. We had a truly unforgettable day and that is down to you guys providing a first class service. You have been amazing at keeping us both calm and relaxed throughout this crazy time. We are so glad we went ahead it was perfect and we could not fault a thing. Guests have also said that they had the best day, they said the food was incredible with never before seen portion size with special praise also in the direction of the service. They said that they were also made to feel comfortable and at ease even with all these restrictions. One comment that has stuck with us is that they said this is by far the best wedding venue they have ever been too. We cannot thank you enough and we already want to come back have have dinner with you. Thank you Donny & Ruby Xx
