This is our home, if you read the reviews you will see we get it right. In our grounds we can have marquees for up to 250 guests or we can create more intimate weddings in the house for a wedding breakfast for up to 45 guests. Children are welcome.

Elopement and intimate weddings start from only £1500. Larger weddings for over 45 guests will involve the additional cost of a marquee. Couples with 120 guests usually tend to end up paying us around £12,500 with marquee and catering in addition.

We stayed for two nights, it was all very relaxing and friendly. The views were amazing. Super breakfast. And the service was first class. They stepped in and offered their stunning home. They are amazing! It was perfect. The setting was idyllic. Paul and Alan couldn’t do enough for everyone. After the total devastation of the fire, the boys were calm and made a tragedy into a romantic fairytale. The house is out of this world, beautifully manicured and immaculately decorated. Look no further for a wedding venue. They will make your dreams come true.The wonderful Paul and Alan saved the day after my best friends wedding was cancelled the day before due to a fire. We were originally meant to get married at the George in Rye on 21st July 2019 but due to the unfortunate fire that took place in the early hours - our wedding got called off!!! You can only imagine our disappointment and when we thought there was absolutely no hope of our wedding going ahead, an angel appeared, Paul the owner of Saltcote Place and agreed to host our wedding! We dried our tears, got our glad rags on and told our very disappointed guests that our wedding was ‘back on’!!! What an amazing couple, Paul and Alan of Saltcote Place are. We would like to thank them for their kindness, calmness and generosity of opening up their home to host our wedding. What an amazing setting Saltcote Place is!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better venue with such gorgeous views of the Sussex downs and great staff! The place is just magical. Both the interior and exterior are breath-taking. Ps: Alan your breakfast is to die for and big kiss to Auntie Shirley too.Thank u so so so much for making our dream wedding come true through your kindness! From the moment Ed and I met Paul and Alan last September when we came to see Saltcote Place for the first time as a potential wedding venue, we fell in love with everything. Of course Saltcote Place is stunning, the views are unrivalled and the rooms are luxuriously decororated with exquisite taste, but what really sealed the deal was Alan and Paul. Their knowledge and humour put us instantly at ease and we knew straight away that our wedding was in excellent hands. Fast forward nine months, several visits and plenty of emails and we arrived at our wedding weekend which exceeded all expectations. All of our guests commented on the beautiful location, the sun came out and we were treated to the best weekend of our lives. Paul and Alan were everywhere, checking in on us, looking after our guests, following up on our late band, ensuring the caterers were on top of everything and making everyone feel like nothing was too much trouble. Turns out Alan is a devil on the dance floor, Paul is just the kindest person I've ever met and them both as a team are a completely unstoppable force. Thank you for all you did, we will be forever indebted, but I do hope you had as much fun as we did! This is not a place where you beat them down on price and do everything in a hurry. The entire process was enjoyable and relaxed and for 120 guests the total cost was around £150 a head including accommodation, food drink and marquee as well as all support staff and facilities. We chose the right venue, from the outset the owners became friends and helped us make our budget go further that we had anticipated. Our family and friends have all said it was the best wedding they have been to. Our celebration was exactly as we wanted it. Our catering was amazing and the drinks reasonably priced. This is not a place where you beat them down on price and do everything in a hurry.
