Kenwood Hall Hotel is situated within 12 acres of picturesque grounds which create a truly beautiful setting for a wedding. Guests can enjoy a drinks reception on the elevated terrace overlooking the lake and take in the stunning surroundings. The grounds look magnificent all year round, whether there’s a light covering of snow on the ground or the spring flowers are in bloom adding glorious colours to the surroundings. There are an abundance of wonderful places to capture wedding photos around the grounds of Kenwood Hall Hotel, including by the lake or in front of the original manor house. The grounds provide the perfect space if couples would like to add garden games for their guests to enjoy, and there is even a private paddock area if guests would prefer to opt for a more informal tipi wedding with a festival or boho theme. When you are looking for the perfect venue for your wedding day, Kenwood Hall really does provide the best of both worlds. The Lakeview is the larger suite which can accommodate up to 140 guests for a wedding breakfast and 180 guests for an evening reception. The modern space features spectacular views of the grounds and the neutral decor allows you to personalise the room however you choose. For more intimate celebrations, Kenwood House is the ideal choice. Steeped in history, the building dates back to the 1800s and boasts incredible original features such as ornate ceilings and fireplaces. - RRebekah&Scott14/11/2025Our wedding at Kenwood 🥰Our wedding at Kenwood 🥰Such an amazing day from start to finish with the lovely Anisha helping us throughout the day. She was our beck and call whenever we needed her nothing was ever an issue. She made our daughter who is 6 feel very confident about going down the aisle by herself to scatter her flowers as she was very scared. After Anisha showed her the room and how far she had to walk she was happy to do so and she did just that 🥰 the whole team at Kenwood was very helpful the whole day couldn’t have gone any better absolutely perfect 😍 Such an amazing day from start to finish with the lovely Anisha helping us throughout the day. She was our beck and call whenever we needed her nothing was ever an issue. The grounds are lovely for photos and the ceremony room in Kenwood house is beautiful. Throughout our planning Bev was amazing and answered all our questions and queries making the planning process completely stress free. There was a few issues that we encountered. We decided to stay the night before and was told prior that we would have access to the get ready room from 5pm so I could prep for my bridal party arrival the next morning. When we arrived someone had been checked into this room and they was unable to contact them to ask them to leave, which to be honest if I was that person I would have been very annoyed if I was asked to move. They sourced us another room however my husband ended up having this and I used the bridal suite we were having to get ready. It did all work out in the end but was an added stress not needed. We did however, receive a refund for the mix up. Again, on the night before the wedding we then went to have a meal in the restaurant we encountered a very rude member of staff who was not happy I had walked through a certain door. This did upset me how she spoke to me and I immediately saw red. I would go as far to say this ruined my night. I was already slightly stressed from the room mix up and this added to my frustrations. We then had a lovely wedding day and all ran smoothly, we didnt have a wedding breakfast so I cannot comment on the food you get, we did however have canapés and an evening buffet and all my guests said it was lovely (we was too busy to eat any). I would have liked more bar staff serving my guests as at one point I had to ask where they had gone as my guests were waiting too long to be served. I had 110 guests that was the pre agreed number and only 1 on the bar at times, where was everyone? It would also have been nice to have someone see you on your way with all your stuff the morning after. Everything had been dumped behind reception and it was a bit of a free for all trying to get our things together. My bouquet had also just been chucked in a box with things placed on top of it which was disappointing and one of my bridesmaids bouquets was completely squashed and went straight in the bin. As you know wedding florals are very expensive. I don’t want this review to come across negative because we really did have a wonderful day and would do it all again. It was just if these things didn’t happen we would have had an even better experience. Me and my husband got married here last month and we had a wonderful day. We had the perfect day, the staff from start to finish couldn’t do enough for us, we were so relaxed which with a small child was super helpful. The get ready room was beautiful and made for some fabulous photos! Our day ran so smoothly, the food was delicious, we received so many compliments from our guests, the room change over was seamless and our wedding night room was amazing! We are looking forward to returning for our first wedding anniversary ❤️We had our wedding at kenwood in May 2024! I would highly recommend it for a wedding The absolute best wedding co-ordinator looked after me .. the fabulous Bev .. ask for her and you won’t go wrong as nothing was too much trouble and she comes back as quickly as possible. Lisa on reception is fab too. She was great with dealing with any questions we had And the amazing Marcela was also brilliant and really wanted the day to be super special and helped in every way possible to make it happen There is also a gentlemen who coordinated the wedding breakfast / did the announcements and was organised and Attentive (I think he was called mark but I could be completely wrong) The food was brilliant and we didn’t want a traditional meal and nothing was too much trouble The bedrooms are a little tired in some parts of the hotel but I know they are working through these and they are clean just tired: We had the old bridal suite (room 500 and the glam room) which gives you all the space you need …. A few changes I would have made .. I would use my own DJ the one supplied by the hotel was not friendly with our wedding guests and when asked to play different kinds of music to encourage people to dance he ignored it .. he clearly had his own list and was sticking to it Need more bar staff .. there was always a queue It’s a hotel tucked out of the way in leafy Sheffield but that’s why we picked it for the grounds and peace. What is your venue's most unique feature?
The history of the property (1840's) mixed with the modern, creates a great mix for photos. Also, the grounds are beautiful and there are so many perfect photograph opportunities.

I am most proud of the history and heritage of the hotel, and the amazing team that I get to work with on a daily basis.
