Describe the best wedding that happened at Hockering House?
They are all brilliant of course but we had a Chinese Groom once who's uncle headed up the Dragon Dancers in London. They came and danced at the wedding, an incredible performance to have the honour to watch.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have fun! Don't have what you feel you should have, have what you want!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Hockering House is deigned for personal touches, the whole point of choosing a venue like this is to make it individual to you. One couple who were festival goers designed and illustrated their invitation as a festival entry ticket with a perforated end to return, set up a entrance gate that looked just like a festival with 'security guards in day glow jackets & metal fences, gave out lanyards and arrival packs, table centre pieces were wellies filled with flowers, festival flags everywhere, the groom made giant wooden colourful letters over 1m high 'Wilsonbury', Wilson was his surname, ladies were given flower crowns and the list goes on. Their own personal festival!
