Swallows Oast is a family run business, and we pride ourselves in offering a friendly, personalised service. no two weddings are ever the same and we offer couples the flexibility to make the venue theirs for the day. We have recently received permission from East Sussex Registration to allow us to hold outside Weddings in three new locations on the site; The Woodland enclave, The Oaks and The Lakeside Pagoda. Check these out as they are all very special.

£1300 will be for a lunchtime hire from 12-5pm, £1500 Evening Hire 6-Midnight, £3100 will be an all day hire until midnight. All charges are exclusive of VAT.
We offer hire options for venue day before and accessories plus options for Ceremony only, Ceremony and Reception or just Reception.
Catering is priced on a per head basis. Other options include Marquee attachments, Bridal Suite & Make up room +onsite accommodation, camping available.

We were able to get married in the woods and it was a truly magical day. The staff at swallows oast were incredible and were on top of everything. We didn't have to worry about a thing! Mark showed us round and talked us through how the day would run and from that point we just couldn’t wait. It went exactly as he said - perfectly. Their attention to detail is incredible and the way they operate means any transitions and seamless for guests. Every single person has commented on how wonderful the setting was (we got married in the woodland enclave, drinks/canapés on the terrace and then meal in the barn). The food was outstanding and one of the main highlights! Russell’s menu and the quality of the food/service was again greatly appreciated by all. We cannot recommend Swallows Oast highly enough, it was the perfect place for our magical day! We fell in love with this place within 5 seconds of entering! We had a woodland wedding followed by a bbq banquet and it was everything we wanted and more! All our guests have praised the day and how lovely and different it was! 100% recommend! There were lots of options and Mark was very helpful explaining them to us - it all felt very personal and customisable rather than having to stick to a set plan. The food was absolutely sensational and all our guests commented how much they loved it! From canapés to the sit down meal to evening snacks. The bridal suite was the perfect space for getting ready and for spending the wedding night. It made it so much easier being on site. Thank you again Mark and Russel (and the rest of the team) for helping us plan our big day! We can not recommend Swallows Oast enough for any people thinking of getting married in a barn style venue in Sussex. They were very understanding of the type of wedding we wanted, were happy to take requests to make our wedding as personal as possible and went above and beyond to make the day special. The bridal suite was amazing, and the homemade scones the next day were a fantastic touch. The barn venue and marquee allowed us to have enough space for our 100 guests and I had the outdoor wedding ceremony I dreamed of. There were many options where you could have the ceremony too, by the lake, outside the barn and in the woodland which were all picturesque and provided gorgeous photos to treasure. Swallows Oast were very helpful in recommending fantastic suppliers to work with. The main feedback I had from the guests were all the staff were lovely and the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding and I have to concur. A massive thank you to Russell for producing a fantastic menu and the amazing dessert platter that my family and friends will never forget. A massive thank you to Mark and Clare for all the organisation and helping the day come together perfectly. Such a fantastic team at Swallows Oast and would recommend so highly. As a result we feel hugely lucky to have found Swallows Oast - it was exactly the kind of beautiful, laid back approach that we were looking for. The food was extraordinary, the organisation beforehand was clear without being overbearing and there were a thousand little touches throughout the day and the morning after that were really classy and made the day really special. (Also, Swallow's Oast is the barn, but also there's a glade on the site surrounded by birch trees that is a magical place for a reception. As a result it also felt a bit like having two venues in one) Mark, Russell and the team are superb. We felt in such safe hands, and free to enjoy the day as a result. We were very nervous of having a big wedding that felt like it was 'off the shelf' but also didn't have a massive budget to spend.... As a result we feel hugely lucky to have found Swallows Oast - it was exactly the kind of beautiful, laid back approach that we were looking for. We had the most perfect day from start to finish. All of our guests were asking how we found such a hidden treasure of a venue.....its simply stunning! The food was also absolutely delicious, in particular the canapés and everyone was raving about it. To top it all off the staff were amazing! So attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
