Swallows Oast

We spent a while looking for the perfect venue - and Swallows Oast provided everything we needed/wanted and was completely in budget too! There were lots of options and Mark was very helpful explaining them to us - it all felt very personal and customisable rather than having to stick to a set plan. The food was absolutely sensational and all our guests commented how much they loved it! From canapés to the sit down meal to evening snacks. The bridal suite was the perfect space for getting ready and for spending the wedding night. It made it so much easier being on site. Thank you again Mark and Russel (and the rest of the team) for helping us plan our big day!

I cannot recommend swallows oast highly enough! From our first visit to our amazing day everything was perfect. All staff go above and beyond to make sure your day is truly magical. I cannot Thankyou all enough!

We had the best wedding day we could have imagined. We can not recommend Swallows Oast enough for any people thinking of getting married in a barn style venue in Sussex. They were very understanding of the type of wedding we wanted, were happy to take requests to make our wedding as personal as possible and went above and beyond to make the day special. The bridal suite was amazing, and the homemade scones the next day were a fantastic touch. The barn venue and marquee allowed us to have enough space for our 100 guests and I had the outdoor wedding ceremony I dreamed of. There were many options where you could have the ceremony too, by the lake, outside the barn and in the woodland which were all picturesque and provided gorgeous photos to treasure. Swallows Oast were very helpful in recommending fantastic suppliers to work with. The main feedback I had from the guests were all the staff were lovely and the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding and I have to concur. A massive thank you to Russell for producing a fantastic menu and the amazing dessert platter that my family and friends will never forget. A massive thank you to Mark and Clare for all the organisation and helping the day come together perfectly. Such a fantastic team at Swallows Oast and would recommend so highly.

A BIG thank you to Swallows Oast! We couldn't have wished for a better day and it was everything we hoped for! Our guests have said it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to and how beautiful it was. Also, Russell did an amazing job on the food, from canapés (which we decided to include last minute and it was absolutely no problem), our BBQ style wedding breakfast to evening food. Everything was just perfect. We have many happy memories to look back on now and highly recommend Swallows Oast to anyone. It was the most amazing day from start to finish. Thank you again!

We were very nervous of having a big wedding that felt like it was 'off the shelf' but also didn't have a massive budget to spend.... As a result we feel hugely lucky to have found Swallows Oast - it was exactly the kind of beautiful, laid back approach that we were looking for. The food was extraordinary, the organisation beforehand was clear without being overbearing and there were a thousand little touches throughout the day and the morning after that were really classy and made the day really special. (Also, Swallow's Oast is the barn, but also there's a glade on the site surrounded by birch trees that is a magical place for a reception. As a result it also felt a bit like having two venues in one) Mark, Russell and the team are superb. We felt in such safe hands, and free to enjoy the day as a result.

My son and his new wife just had their wedding ceremony and their reception here . Absolutely stunning venue with the ceremony outside , followed by a lovely wedding breakfast in the barn . From start to finish the whole experience was fantastic . mark and his staff and the brilliant chief did an amazing job . Everything ran smoothly the staff were very helpful and just made the day the best day ever . highly recommend

We have just had our wedding at the Swallows Oast and all I can say is that if you're considering booking then do it! We had the most perfect day from start to finish. All of our guests were asking how we found such a hidden treasure of a venue.....its simply stunning! The food was also absolutely delicious, in particular the canapés and everyone was raving about it. To top it all off the staff were amazing! So attentive and nothing was too much trouble. One bit of advice would be to book the bridal suite, it's so beautiful 😍 Mark, Russell and team - thank you so much for making our day more special than we could have ever imagined ❤ xxx

An absolutely beautiful day was had by ALL at swallows oast, Mark was so relaxed and helped us at every step. The whole team made is seem so easy! With last minute changes and pandemics around nothing was too much and nothing was at all stressful! It was just the most amazing day, it went so smooth, with beautiful food and some incredible photo ops! PERFECTION!! ❤ we just wish we could do it all again!

Myself and my Husband booked this venue back in 2018 due to get married 25/04/20. However, just like many other couples out there we had to postpone due to Covid. After many dates and even more postponements we were finally able to tie the knot on 10/07/21. And what a magical day it was! All through the postponements and rearranging, Mark and Clare were on hand to help and answer any of our worries. We hired the venue the day before to decorate and again all staff that were on hand to help were amazing!!!! The whole day from start to finish was an absolute dream! All of the staff, Mark, Clare and Amelia were just fantastic and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the waiting team :) The bridal sweet was the perfect touch too!! They do absolutely anything they can to ensure it is your perfect day and we really can’t thank you all enough!!
