We love weddings! It’s what we do, and we do it well. We specialise in hosting beautiful weddings, ranging from large and formal, to small and informal, unique, and even very quirky. Each day is different, and we love it!

The venue was perfect for us, so intimate and private. Louise our wedding coordinator was amazing and nothing was too much of an ask! All of our guests commented on how nice all of the food was on the day. We wish we could do the whole day again and would change a thing! As an event manager myself, and someone who's worked in the wedding industry for years, I’d been searching for *my* venue for over five years, and finally, I found it in Highfield Hall. Handing over the reins to another coordinator could have been daunting, but working with Lils made everything feel effortless. She was nothing short of amazing. From the planning stages right through to the last dance, every single detail was handled with such care and precision. I didn't have to worry about a thing - she had me in the right place at the right time, remembered every tiny detail I’d asked for, and made sure everything looked and felt exactly how I imagined. The venue itself? A total dream. The exclusivity, the stunning grounds, the beautiful indoor spaces, and the incredible rooms, it truly had everything. The team was beyond accommodating; nothing was too much to ask. They went above and beyond to tailor everything to us, from adjusting the evening food to ensuring all dietary requirements were met with ease and professionalism. The staff are THE BEST, as they had to deal with me...but were so flexible and you could really make your day your own! Breakfast the day after was the best meal I've ever had in my life, especially after you have been walking talking, drinking, stressing the day before. My family and friends loved their rooms, very clean and cozy! Getting ready room is so PRACTICAL! so much room for friends and family, tea, coffee, fridge for the prosecco! just the best morning ever! Your wedding co-ord is on hand, they will probley kill me, but you can call and text them if your stuck on anything which gives you peace of mind! Would recommend any day! This venue is a perfect mix of elegance and countryside charm, with stunning views and beautiful grounds that make it feel like you’re in your own little paradise. The atmosphere during the afternoon was relaxed and picturesque, but when the evening rolled in, the energy absolutely exploded.We had an incredible time performing at Highfield Hall for an evening wedding celebration and it was a total blast. Highfield hall were amazing, nothing was to much trouble, from a babysitter, to a host, to a waitress they were so attentive to ALL our needs and wants. - NNatasha09/08/2024Wedding wonderful - but MANY problems Wedding wonderful - but MANY problemsLove the venue, very beautiful - but communication from the staff is significantly lacking and emails would remain unanswered for days and weeks. 12 out of the 16 bedrooms had problems, ranging from: no toilet paper (in several of them), peeling wallpaper, windows that wouldn’t close, chewing gum on bed sheets, toilets that did not flush and housekeeping walking in the room before checkout whilst guests were on the toilet - and more! Manager was informed of the room problems the following day and no follow up/explanation or apology has occurred. The beer ran out during the wedding and took a long time for more to come back on, 2 pumps were completely out of use. Father of the Bride wanted to buy more Prosecco as there was not enough, she refused and walked away. Staff member refused to clean up a spill because they were too busy and refused to give a guest a mop to clean it up themselves - leaving the floor wet and slippery. Wedding day itself was lovely for the bride and groom, but from 9:30am the following day was met with a barrage of problems. Problems caused by the venue staff and seriously impacting the happiness of the occasion. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We do love a gender reveal! We had a wedding recently where not only did the couple have a gender reveal but no one knew they were pregnant! Not even the parents. It was lovely to witness this moment.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Remember it is your day and if there is something you want to make it more special for you, ask your venue for help. If they cant help you they will have contacts who can to make it easier for you to achieve
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One couple used Lego for their table plan and name places, and guests too their personalised piece home which matched their hair colour, or their favourite TV show for example.. a great idea which was well received by all and made a great talking point and memory for all guests.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We have Moel Famau in the background exactly where the sun sets and have had some gorgeous photographs taken there
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We had a footballer as a witness at one wedding, but not following football I had no idea who he was until I was told the next day!
What’s your favourite canapé?
The favourite is mini toad in the hole with lots of Gravy, Yummy!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Bacon Bap (but it has to be crispy and hot)
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our garden pavilion for outside ceremonies
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The comments we get from couples about them feeling at home for their wedding and having the best day ever.
We always aim to make each couple feel at home and I am proud to have achieved this
