Overlooking the river Garnock, Dalgarven, wrapped in a cluster of trees and nestled in riverside gardens, this non pretentious exclusive use country house exudes a rustic appeal and provides a colourful backdrop for intimate gatherings.
Inside, Dalgarven sleep up to 27 guests, plus dogs and babies, allowing close family and friends on hand to ensure your wedding day vision is created. The 9 bedrooms are spread over 2 wings on the first floor affording a sumptuous place to unwind before and after the celebrations. Roaring log fires, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large party room ensure the wedding party is entertainment for days on end.
When guests have all dispersed home, sink into the huge commercial hot tub and enjoy a spa treatment.
Outside, the small but pretty gardens offer an informal setting for romance. For the perfect al fresco wedding affair, think twinkling lights on the riverside decking or you may prefer to marry inside the riverside orangery overlooking the river followed by a seated wedding dinner to really immerse yourself in the scenery of greenery. We loved the homely vibe and the ability to make the venue our own for the big day! We had around 60 guests on the wedding day and it was plenty spacious for all our guests to enjoy. We staying for three nights and enjoyed lovely food provided by the team at dalgarven. An extra special thanks to Angela who is just incredible. The hosts were extremely flexible and helpful. We ended up having a meal prepared by them and were very pleased. All the guest loved the venue and had wonderful time. Angela met us a few times at the venue prior to the wedding so that we could go through the big day and how it would look. On the day, Angela had everything set up exactly how we discussed, the bar was stocked with everything we asked for, the fire was roaring, and everyone commented on how amazing the venue was.
