Set within the stunning Cheshire countryside is Alcumlow Wedding Barn, a rustic country wedding venue ideal for couples looking to host an untraditional and more relaxed wedding day. As a fully licenced Venue, you can say your vows under a sky of fairy lights inside our unique Wedding Barn or under the Summer sun in the outdoor White House. A chapel-like structure, complete with suspended windows and flower filled window boxes. It doesn't get more unique than that! If you wish to marry in a religious Ceremony, there are a number of beautiful country churches within easy reach. Alcumlow Wedding Barn will be eagerly awaiting your grand entrance to host your Wedding Breakfast and Reception. Alcumlow Wedding Barn has been finished to the highest of standards, offering a luxury feel without losing it's rustic charm. A high spec sound system has been built in which ensures that the dance floor is booming while the seating areas and bar are not over-powered with sound so that your guests can chat with ease. The quirky bar is fully stocked with a wide selection of drinks at fair pub prices and a unique bar is situated outside for your guests to enjoy a refreshing drink while they enjoy exclusive use of the beautiful grounds with views across the rolling countryside and ruins of Mow Cop Castle. The setting is perfect for some stunning photographs! On site you will also find a beautiful Bridal Dressing Room (extra cost) where the Bride Squad can get ready in the morning and use throughout the day for those all important touch-ups. A wide range of catering options are on offer, boasting everything from traditional 3 course sit down meal to Stone baked pizza fresh from our outdoor Italian pizza oven which is located in our Stone Courtyard Garden. They think of everything…and the staff….well… NOTHING is too much trouble they just want you to have the best day. They ensure you have everything you need and even think of things you don’t think you need, but you do! All of my guests commented on just how beautiful the venue is and how amazing all the details are. This place creates magic and I can’t thank everyone at Alcumlow enough! Jason, Carol, Bev & Todd, all the wider team and all the Ridgeway team - you are utterly, wonderfully superb! You made my dreams come true! We had the most amazing day from start to finish! The bridal prep room is everything a girl could dream of when she is getting ready 😍. The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff are incredible! Such great communication from the first email enquiry to the moment we left the dancefloor to go home...... Stacey.....you were an absolute dream getting back to us with any questions we had! Jason you were a fantastic toast master and helped guide us through our day with ease. Carol was on hand to dress the venue in the morning and it was exactly how I had pictured it in my head......stunning! There is so much beautiful detail in the presentation of the venue that it takes your breath away when you walk in and unlike many other venues around these extras are included in the price! The barn is elegant and rustic and there is plenty of outside space to snap some gorgeous pictures! If you are looking for a real life fairy tale this is it. The staff are top notch and so helpful and really shaped our day. It’s great prices on the bar and it was out of this world. I’d give it 100 stars if I could. I’m so upset it’s over!! We got married on Friday and I can't thank all the staff at Alcumlow enough, from the beginning of the day to the end every single thing was perfect the day went very chilled no hiccups everyone said how much they enjoyed it. Wow! Alcumlow is a truly magical venue - from the rustic decor to the amazing outdoor spaces. From the day we first came to look around right until the end of our wedding day, we were guided through what our day could look like and even got some amazing Rum punch for our welcome drinks thanks to Beverly's joint love of Barbados! A huge shout out to Stacey for helping us organise, Carol for making the venue perfect and Jason for absolutely everything during the day - he was incredible! We had thWow! We had our Disney/ marvel wedding here and it was perfect. The barn was perfect for the theme The staff were so helpful And could not of done anything more for us always checking on the bride and groom making sure we was on time for food and 1st dance. Without a doubt, the best wedding venue around! We got married here just over 3 weeks ago and had the most incredible day! As soon as we arrived at Alcumlow for our first visit last year, we knew it was the one. As you step inside the barn doors, you’re hit by its character, all the little touches and the personal feel of it, and we instantly fell in love with it. It really just has got that something special that stays with you. From start to finish, we had the most amazing experience - all the team are so lovely, friendly and welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They were always on hand to answer any questions and made us feel so at ease. A massive thank you in particular to Stacey, Carole and Jason who did an incredible job of organising our day, making it so special and relaxed (exactly how we wanted it), and made sure everything ran perfectly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing as it was all taken care of! Carole did a wonderful job of making everything look amazing, we didn’t have to lift a finger! The venue looked absolutely beautiful - from the bridal prep room, the twinkling lights of the barn, and the bunting in the White House, to all of the decor, the beautiful table centrepieces and the stunning courtyard. All of the little touches were so special. We had so many comments from our guests on how perfect it all was, and the ice-cream and pizzas went down a treat! Can’t thank you all enough - we couldn’t have wished for anything more! We had the BEST day and wish we could do it all over again (but we’ll just have to settle for regular ice-cream visits for now 😂)! Can’t recommend you highly enough!
