We'd booked the room and added extra notes that it would be our wedding night so we'd appreciate anything else they could do to make our night special. We arrived late after our wedding and were met at reception by the friendliest staff. They told us that they'd upgraded our room and had also upgraded our breakfast so that we could enjoy room service free of any extra charge. Excitedly, we scurried off to our room where we found that we'd been given a lovely room with a balcony on the top floor. We'd also been given a bottle of champagne, some little treats and a card from the hotel team. We decided to have breakfast downstairs the morning after and cannot fault the food or service. The pan au chocolat was by far the best we've ever had!! We'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone that's thinking about staying here.
