What is your most memorable wedding?
Recently, I did a 3-day wedding in 2 different locations. The wedding included a Sangeet night, a Hindu ceremony, reception and civil ceremony. I really enjoyed getting to know the guests and acting as a host for the Sangeet, and as Toastmaster for all the other ceremonies.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book early for the services you require. Don't leave things to the last minute, because you may risk not getting exactly what you want.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Name places at the reception - they can be so important and can leave such a great impression!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will always discuss with the couple in detail, around a month to two weeks prior to the big day, the current schedule and realistic running times. It's the smallest details I will always try to tease out - e.g. how the couple want to be announced once married, do they want to ban mobile phones during the ceremony etc. It's these small details that can change everything on the day.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A wedding after-party! Not something I normally do, but I did have fun telling all the guests where to assemble once the party was over - needless to say, I didn't attend myself!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Communication, communication, communication! It is vital to communicate with the couple's main wedding contact/ planner, the DJ, the band, the priest, the venue, the photographer, the videographer etc. The more you communicate throughout, the more chance you have of keeping on schedule!
What do you love most about your job?
Book early for the services you require. Don't leave things to the last minute, because you may risk not getting exactly what you want.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The moment after the couple are pronounced married. The elation on so many faces around the room is always a picture of joy!
