Not only does she deliver her ceremonies to an incredibly high standard, but she has also gone above and beyond both times by staying behind to help behind the scenes. Can’t recommend Phoebe smith ceremonies enough! Just been to one of my closest friend’s wedding and it was one of the best because of how chilled funny and ‘them’ it was. To be so personal and fun was just everything.

Harriet was a wonderful celebrant, able to weave together our personal journey into a thoughtful, emotive and humorous story, which both touched and amused our guests in equal measure. We contacted Harriett with very little notice due to organising a shotgun wedding! She was quick to respond and get the ball rolling, and was very flexible around the usual timelines, making sure we still had enough time to give the process the thought and attention it deserved to make it feel truly special.

Throughout the planning we had easy and regular chats with her – even doing so from across continents (we were US based) it felt very natural and close knit. Harriet also helped me with my vows to ensure we had complimentary tones. We were so excited to finally meet her in person as our ceremony neared, and we felt like old friends instantly. Harriet was also a super star on the actual day –an experienced pro helping to ease my nerves. Phoebe Smith Ceremonies helped make our day special, unique.

Where can I start, other than to say Harriet from Phoebe Smith Ceremonies is the absolute BEST!! If you are on the fence deciding on a celebrant, don’t be. We could not have asked for a more wonderful person to officiate our wedding. She gave so much of her time to get to know us, kept us calm on the day, and when we needed help, nothing was too much trouble. The ceremony was completely tailored to us, and our daughters felt so included throughout.

Harriet has this magical ability to bring lots of energy to the ceremony, while also being a grounding and calming presence for you as the couple. We felt seen, understood, and very much celebrated! Harriet is so much more than a celebrant, she is a source of inspiration, an idea generator, a cheerleader, a bringer of vibes and an all round phenomenal person to have on your team. We will be forever grateful to Harriet for creating such a personalised and memorable experience for all. Thank you

I knew from the minute I saw Harriet’s page she was going to be the one for us, she put together a truly bespoke beautiful wedding ceremony, so many of our guests complimented her and one even wanted her to fly to the US to officiate her daughters wedding! It was not just the ceremony, Harriet’s attention to detail and efforts to get to know us before the wedding were second to none, during the wedding she delivered a brilliant ceremony and after helped arrange my dress for photos.

Harriet is without doubt the best decision we made for our special day going to great lengths to get to know us, zoom meetings, in person meetings, a run through, all of it culminating in a ceremony that was at once funny, touching and like a folk tale perfectly conveying who we were and what we meant to each other, her words blew us away with their accuracy and emotion, “Best ceremony ever” was heard from nearly every guest and it is truly deserved, words are not enough -book her now!

Asking Harriet to be our celebrant was the best decision we made (after deciding to get married!) She is an amazing, warm and kind person who went above and beyond to make our day unique and completely tailored to us. She wrote an amazing ceremony for us, which was beautiful, funny and totally reflected us. We also had a sand ceremony as a lovely way to include our children. We had so many guests comment afterwards on how much they had enjoyed the ceremony and on how fantastic Harriet was.
