We had the best time our ceremony was not only personal but fun! Maureen managed to make our guests laugh and put us at ease the whole ceremony any questions we had (we had a few) she was always happy to help we cannot thank her enough for being part of our wedding day!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Maureen as our celebrant for our wedding, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the very first meeting, she was so approachable, kind, and genuinely loving – it felt like talking to an old friend. In the lead-up to the big day, Maureen was incredibly helpful and supportive, guiding us through the process with patience and warmth. Nothing ever felt rushed or stressful. She took the time to understand us as a couple and tailored the ceremony to reflect us perfectly. On the day itself, Maureen was simply amazing. She brought such a calm and comforting presence, which helped settle our nerves more than she probably knows. Her delivery of the ceremony script was beautifully done – heartfelt, clear, and full of emotion, keeping everyone engaged and even brought happy tears. We genuinely can’t recommend Maureen enough. We first met Maureen Kettle at a wedding open day at the Stirling Highland Hotel – and honestly, within minutes we knew we’d found our celebrant. We weren’t even looking for one at the time (we were mainly focused on the venue!), but Maureen instantly gave us confidence and comfort. We actually ended up choosing our wedding date based on her availability; that’s how good she is! From the very start, Maureen was warm, welcoming, and incredibly organised. She was proactive with meetings, set clear expectations, and took all the stress out of the planning process. She made a real effort to get to know us, our story, and our families, which meant that by the big day she felt like part of the family herself. The ceremony was everything we could have wished for; fun, heartfelt, personal, and perfectly tailored to us. Maureen brought in Celtic traditions that beautifully tied together our Irish and Scottish families, making the whole experience feel unique and special. She also handled some good-natured heckling from our guests with absolute ease, which only added to the relaxed and joyful atmosphere. On the day itself, Maureen was a calming presence (especially for the groom!) and kept everything running smoothly. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable, and our guests haven’t stopped telling us how lovely she was. On top of that, she took some amazing photos, and her communication both before and after the wedding has been fantastic. Maureen really goes above and beyond; she’s not just a celebrant, she’s someone who genuinely cares about making your day perfect. Thank you so much, Heather and James x

Maureen was our humanist for our elopement wedding. Right from the start, Maureen guided us through the process and was on hand for any advice and questions needing answered. We had a lovely, relaxed, personal ceremony and would highly recommend Maureen. Maureen was great and made the day so personal to us, couldn't have asked for a better match for us.

We are so glad we booked Maureen to be our celebrant, her professionalism, humour, personality and energy are second to none. We honestly felt that it was our close friend conducting our ceremony. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day and cannot thank Maureen enough for her being there on our special day. Maureen took the time over the years to get to know us, we had regular meetings with her and could chat at any time. Maureen supported us with all things wedding not just our ceremony.
