Caroline Mortimer Humanist Celebrant

I don’t even know where to start with Caroline as I don’t think I would ever be able to stop. From the moment we came across Caroline’s page my husband and I knew straight away that she was the one we wanted to carry out our ceremony with that friendly smile. From our first video chat right up until the big day she made us feel relaxed and at ease and was fantastic to have someone keep you right with all the legal paperwork which we were a bit stumped by.

Caroline was nothing short of fantastic from the time we first met to our wedding day! She definitely just understood US as a couple and she laughed with us (and at us) during the planning process and even throughout our ceremony. Her numerous emails, phonecalls and script alterations definitely had me at ease and we knew we had picked the right person! It was everything we dreamed of and more! So relaxed throughout and our guests laughed, cried and most importantly loved the ceremony.

If I could rate 100 stars, I would! Caroline was the first humanist we met with over zoom and the second our call ended, my partner and I looked at each other and said “YEP - she’s the one!” Caroline articulated herself so professionally, but also incorporates some light humour which was received very well by our guests. She was very reassuring when I was at the alter waiting for my partner - she has such a calming presence and has clearly got a lot of experience in the game!

Caroline was brilliant and kept us both right prior to the big day and again throughout the ceremony. Her passion for humanism is clear for all to see and this was reflected in compliments from our guests!

We highly recommend Caroline! She came on recommendation from another celebrant after a change in circumstances with our original celebrant. The ceremony was perfect and everyone commented on how lovely and personal it was. I'm so glad things worked out the way it did and that we got to meet her as we definitely got the right person for us! She was very professional and put us at ease straight away at first meeting, she was warm, friendly, genuine, good sense of humour and was clearly passionate

Caroline truly made our day the best it could be. She cares deeply. Caroline took time to get all the content together from all our family and ourselves. There was appropriate humour and deep feeling. Her kindness shone through. Her talent to shape the proceedings to suit and flexibility for taste. She is a wonderful kind funny and talented lady. This lady is one in a million and will make your day so special. From our first meeting over 2 years ago she has always been there if we needed her for anything. In the build up to our big day she was always in touch and pointed us in right direction and gave advice. On our big day..well what can i say...from the min her wee face appeared in my room to check i was ok she was amazing and gave me the best cuddle i needed at that time....she made everybody feel at ease and thats all we needed.

From the start to finish Caroline was amazing! Caroline was always quick to respond to any query’s we had! She made our ceremony personal, funny and just right for us. We can’t thank her enough for all her help leading up to and on the day of the wedding and for making our ceremony perfect and just as we imagined.

Our wedding service was absolutely amazing and this was down to the hard work and effort put in by Caroline 🎉 Every little detail was thought of by Caroline and everyone commented on how incredible the service was, even saying it was the best wedding they had been too ☺️🙌🏼 Caroline made the service so personal, sharing our story with everyone and making it unique to us. It was funny, emotional, and captured everything we wanted and more. You were brilliant Caroline.

Caroline was the most fantastic addition to our wedding. Everyone commented that the service was incredible, it was so personal and captured us perfectly as a couple.
