A Moment In Time Ceremonies Full Description
My name is Mark Newman, born in Hertfordshire and now residing in Ruislip, West London. Living in Ruislip gives me the opportunity to cover London, the Home Counties and the South of England. I will travel nationally if required. I am a fully qualified Independent Civil Celebrant having trained and becoming a member of the ‘Fellowship of Professional Celebrants'. My job as a celebrant is to create bespoke ceremonies for all life’s milestones. I have a friendly, outgoing personality and will treat every client with a professional and personal approach. Book your wedding day and let the magic begin with the creation of a ceremony unique to you and your partner. If you want it traditional, let it be so. If you want something different then lets go crazy. The day is all about you and your loved one, so have 'Your day, Your way'. It would be an honour to be your personal storyteller.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

All weddings are memorable and unique. The ones I love the most are where guests play a part in the ceremony.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Friendly, Proffesional, Caring, Liberal and a slight sprinkling of Humour when the occasion arises

What about your business are you most proud of?

Still going after Covid 2020.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't rush things. Make sure you keep in contact with your suppliers and update them of any changes as soon as possible. I know it's a big day but just try and chill. It will all come together on the day.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Dog as the ring bearer

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I try to meet the couple as soon as possible to create a personal bond between us. I want them to be comfortable with me and reassure them that I am only a phone call away if ever they need me. I try not to overwhelm them with too much information on our first meeting. I will leave them with an example script to give them some idea of how the day will run if they haven't got anything planned already. Also, blank scripts for them to play around with to put their own stamp on the magical day. Our next meeting will be to go over the scripts I have created and take away any more information the couple have added on their own scripts. I can set up skype or zoom meetings if more convenient than face to face meeting. I will keep them constantly updated with copies of the script for them to go over until we have the final one. If the couple want to write vows to each other I will liaise with them individually and help them to create something meaningful from the heart. Our last meeting is face to face to run through the ceremony to make sure everything is perfect.

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

If anyone out-their has had a stress-free wedding, let me know? Joking apart, I am always at the end of the phone to help in anyway I can.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

When the nervous smile has gone and the couple are just beeming with happiness.
