What about your business are you most proud of?
My drive is to improve myself and make so many people happy with the photographs I take. I have undertaken professional training to improve my skills in photography and business, won a few awards along the way, and made memories for so many families.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get a notebook; firstly do your budget. Then look for suppliers that fit your budget and that you like the look of. Once you have your list of potentials get in contact with your preferred suppliers. After checking their availability, If possible meet them to talk about your vision and to plan your dream wedding.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Bringing photos of loved ones and having them up on the altar at the church so they can be remembered and share the day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
After the first contact, we'll arrange a consultation at my Gainsborough studio, to discuss your wedding in detail (Or a zoom call depending on your needs)
A pre-wedding venue visit can happen if necessary, and an engagement photoshoot, all whilst constant communication throughout.
Your wedding photographed and within 1-2 weeks an in-person reveal and ordering session for you to see your photographs and design album. You'll then get a password-protected online gallery to share your photos with your friends and family.
Your album will be custom made and ready in a month!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Photos with elders and people who are extremely special to you.
As well as a couple portrait just for you, even if you want a documentary, natural approach to your photos.
I also recommend the 'First look' photo.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Being asked to take a photo of a bride with a canvas of her cats.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Colorful Wellyboots and colorful umbrellas to have fun or have an alternative plan in place.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have creativity in my soul and I have loved art and photography since I was a child. I studied it and I live and love it.
