Hi, I’m Lou, the founder and creative lead at Tickle Photography, based in the East Midlands. I’m passionate about telling your unique wedding story through beautiful, natural photos that capture the real moments and emotions of your big day. My goal is to deliver creative images you’ll treasure forever.
With over 10 years of experience, including working as an onboard wedding and portrait photographer for Royal Caribbean International and Disney Cruise Line, I’ve had the privilege of traveling the world and honing my craft. This background helps me connect with couples and capture their stories in a genuine, heartfelt way.
At Tickle Photography, I focus on a relaxed and unobtrusive approach. I capture your wedding as it naturally unfolds—those candid smiles, joyful tears, and meaningful moments between you, your family, and friends. These authentic details bring your wedding day to life and add that special touch to your photos.
If you’re looking for fun, relaxed, and creative wedding photography that feels effortless, you’re in the right place. I’m here to make sure you enjoy every moment while I create a beautiful visual story of your celebration.

Fun, Relaxed, Natural, Creative and Light & Bright
Building my business up from nothing to what it is today and being a small part of couple's special day :)
I will always try to meet couples before booking - it's always nice to put a face to someone's name and have a chat, go over your requirements and answer any questions you may have
Taking photos on a red double decker bus. Just as we were about to go in to the venue, the groom, leaned in new wife off the back of the bus and went in for a kiss. It was a spontaneous moment and one of my favourite photos for that reason.
I'm always prepared for weddings come rain or shine. I have a couple of "bridal brollies" in the car. We can still get creative in the rain, especially when it's dark or the sun's going down. Finally, to make sure white dresses stay white and dry, I have tarpaulin for brides to stand on (and hidden under the dress etc).
My Dad used to let me play with his analogue camera as a kid. I was always fascinated with photography as a hobby. It seemed a natural career path - turning your hobby into your business. It's a pleasure to be able to wake up every morning doing I job I love and I wouldn't change it for the world.
