At The Wedding Media House, we do more than take pretty pictures — we tell real love stories with heart, energy, and a modern edge. Led by creative director and photographer Toni Cotterill, we specialise in timeless wedding photography, cinematic videography, and viral-worthy content creation that captures every emotion and unscripted moment.
Whether you’re planning a chic city wedding or a wild countryside celebration, we’re here to document it all — from the aisle to the afterparty. Based in the West Midlands and covering weddings across the UK, our approach is relaxed, fun, and totally focused on you.
Let’s make your wedding unforgettable — and make it look damn good in the process.
I remember all my weddings as each 1 is very special and different in every way
Emotive – every image is full of feeling, not just posed perfection.
Bold – rich colours, striking light, and confident composition.
Cinematic – like stills from a love story you want to rewatch.
Authentic – real moments, unscripted joy, nothing forced.
Editorial – stylish and polished, but still totally you.
I was published in Vouge Italia for one of my wedding images
"Plan the day you’ll love living — not just the one that looks good on Pinterest."
Focus on what matters to you as a couple. Whether that’s an epic dancefloor, a private vow exchange, or skipping traditions that don’t feel right — your day should feel like you, not a checklist.
💖 A Private Moment Together — Before or After the Ceremony
Whether it’s a “first look,” private vow exchange, or sneaking away for five minutes post-ceremony with a glass of fizz, couples always say they’re glad they carved out a moment just for them. It slows the day down, gives them space to breathe, and makes the whole experience feel more intimate.
💬 My Process – What Working With Me Looks Like:
From your first enquiry to final delivery, I keep things relaxed, personal, and stress-free — just the way your wedding should feel.
Let’s Chat: We’ll start with a friendly chat (over coffee or Zoom!) to get to know each other and see if we’re the perfect fit.
Secure Your Date: Once you’re ready to book, I’ll send over a simple online contract and invoice — then the date is officially yours!
Planning + Prep: You’ll get a welcome guide filled with helpful tips, and we’ll stay in touch as your day gets closer. I love hearing about the details!
The Big Day: I’ll be there capturing all the magic — the moments you see, and the ones you miss — with a mix of candid, emotive, and editorial style.
Your Memories Delivered: After the confetti’s settled, your gallery will land in your inbox — full of storytelling images (and maybe a few happy tears).
Whether you're booking photography, video, or content creation — I’ll be your calm in the chaos, your timeline ninja, and your biggest hype woman.
A quiet moment, just the two of you, right after the ceremony.
It doesn’t have to be posed. In fact, the magic is in the pause — when the “we did it” feeling hits and everything else fades for a second. It’s raw, emotional, and 100% real. That one photo will take you back to the exact moment it all began — just the two of you, soaking it in.
The “Just Married Chaos” shot.
Think: the couple sprinting through a cloud of confetti, laughing wildly, champagne in hand, veil flying. It’s messy, real, and SO full of energy — not posed, just pure joy and adrenaline.
1. Embrace It — Don’t Fear It
It’s an opportunity. Moody skies, reflections, dramatic lighting, and cute umbrellas? A vibe. Plus, cuddling under cover makes for some seriously romantic photos.
2. Clear or White Umbrellas Are a Must
I advise to have 2–4 clear dome umbrellas (easy to get on Amazon). They photograph beautifully and don’t block light or faces. White ones also look timeless.
3. Have a Backup Plan for Group Shots
Scope out covered spaces at the venue (barns, porches, big trees, or even inside near windows).
4. Pack Extra Shoes or Towels
I recommend wellies or chunky boots for walking between locations, its practical and can look cute in photos.
5. Trust the Photographer
I’ve captured over 100 weddings across the UK, and my journey started with one very personal moment — my own wedding day. It was that experience, from both sides of the lens, that lit the fire in me to create something different: a space where couples feel truly seen and celebrated.
