What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always meet the photographer in a casual setting a couple of months before the wedding. That way you can see if you will enjoy working with them. Being relaxed around your photographer is vital.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always arrange a casual meeting in an informal setting where after initial introductions and conversations we can discuss what particular details from the day you wish to be focused on, and certain family members you would like captured etc. After this, if you decide you wish to work with me I will scout the venue in advance before the wedding day, at a similar time to see what the light is like, and take the time to plan certain shots that will add a creative edge to your wedding photos.
Describe how you got into photography.
I have been working as a cultural heritage photographer for the last 10 years, and have helped many people access images online that are faithful digital reproductions of the real thing. I decided to branch out in wedding photography due to not having a wedding photographer at my own wedding. My images will immortalise the memory of your special day, far into the future.
