What is your most memorable wedding?
Honestly, there is something about every wedding I’ve ever shot that I remember! One of my favourite memories is catching two flower girls no older than 5, sitting underneath the cake table, hidden by the table cloth, reaching their hands around and dipping their fingers into the icing of the cake! I obviously had to get a cute shot of this before pointing it out to everyone else who had a good giggle. So sweet!

Exceptionally Emotional
What about your business are you most proud of?
I love how I manage to build relationships. I truly believe caring for the couples you photograph for in this industry is everything. Each wedding I shoot I feel I know the couple and their families so well by the end of the planning and the day. It’s rather emotional handing over the photographs.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be yourselves! Do not do something because someone else has done it.. do it because you want to. Your wedding day will go so quickly, and when you remember it, I want you to smile and think, oh I love that we did that!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A wedding I shot 5 or so years ago.. the groom had surprised his bride by seeing her grandads broach onto her bouquet. It was the sweetest thing and so sentimental. Her granddad had passed away the year before, and he wrote her a note saying this way he will be with you walking down the aisle.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually receive enquiries via email and my website contact form. I then send my pricing brochure and my wedding client guide (a helpful guide with tips and tricks surrounding the photography of your big day). Once potential clients have received this, they may want to book in a phone call and chat. Once they are ready to book they are sent my contract and T&C's. I also send across a questionnaire which helps me to write my timetable for the day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
THE LOOK! .. the first time they set eyes on eachother on the wedding day. It gets me every time!!
