What about your business are you most proud of?
I am most proud of all my referral clients I receive which means I have not only done a great job at that wedding for my couple but their friends have loved the job I have done too and put their trust in me to tell their story too.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy your day! Relax and let the emotions run, don't hold back!!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Exchanging their own vows with beautiful words that make you cry and I'm fighting back the tears behind the lens. I also had a groom pull out his guitar and sing to his wife at the speeches.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We have a bit of fun, relaxed and shoot very natural as so many people don't like the camera. I do always tell you what to do, I keep you right throughout the day and relax you, I show you where to stand and how to pose when I am creating something very unique that requires this.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I think every couple should dance down their aisle or atleast get those hands in the air/flowers in the air to say "We've done it!!" Happy fun expressions are always the best to capture.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I take photographs of your day, as it happens and unfolds with my knowledge and experience coming into play when required for family and couple shots. I prefer to let your day unfold and not pre plan too much.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Wellys and an umbrella! After all this is what happened on your day so we have to capture you in it, without getting too wet ofcourse, unless your keen - I am!! I can bring out lights and get some rain shots which can look so cool!
Describe how you got into photography.
My family ran photography studios all my life and I have always felt a creative urge to be behind a camera. Once I started doing weddings I knew this is where I wanted to be and what I loved the most!
