I love weddings!!! All the emotions, colours, goings on - there is something so special about being asked to document someone's big day! I'm an emotional junkie at heart so I love to capture the love, laughter, and even the tears.
One of the things I hate most in life is poor customer service - so I'm determined that you don't experience it yourself. Booking a photographer is a big deal as its your memories for life that will be captured - and its your experience on the day that I want to stay with you - not memories of any hassles or problems! I only take on one wedding at a time, and I'll be there for as long as you want on the day (and generally longer as I'm normally having so much fun I don't want to leave!!) so you can be guaranteed of my personal attention throughout the process
Based in the New Forest, I am ideally located to cover weddings in both Hampshire and Dorset. Don't worry if your wedding is outside those areas though as I am more than happy to travel!!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure you book a photographer you get one with - we'll be with you longer than anyone else on the day! There is no point in booking someone even if there are an award winning photographer if you don't get along as it will show in your images.
On the day my advice would be relax and enjoy it whatever happens!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of my brides had been keeping a diary from her engagement all the way up to her wedding day as a gift for her husband - the very last entry was just before she made her final preparations to go down to the ceremony so it a very personal and privileged moment to be able to capture on camera.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I generally strive to have meeting with you before booking so we can go over what you want from me as a photographer, and to ensure that we all get on. Occasionally this isn't possible, but at the very least there will be a nice long chat on the phone! At somepoint before your big day there will also be a pre-wedding consultation and engagement shoot (if you want one).
On your wedding day I'll be there nice and early and I'll also normally stay quite late!
After that there is all the post-production on your images, followed by album production and finally happy clients!!!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
One that shows the love between a couple and the connection they have
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
All my images are original!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas! And a nice relaxed outlook on the day - there is no point in getting upset if the weather is not cooperating - we can still get some awesome shots in the rain!
Describe how you got into photography.
I was blown away by the images taken by the wedding photographer photographer on my own wedding day. I'd always previously taken landscape shots and not really thought much about the emotional value of images. One I saw what could be conveyed through an image I was hooked and started learning as much about people photography as possible - from there it was a natural progression to move onto wedding and portraits. At the end of the day I think I am an emotional junkie as I love the reactions people have to my work.
