Ooh there's been many but if I had to choose right now then I think photographing a wedding at St Paul's Cathedral. What an experience! In fact a lot of the people in the background of the photographs were tourists watching the wedding!

The thank you cards I receive from couples after their wedding, it means so much to know we got it right.
Go with your instinct when you meet suppliers.
The grooms best friend was their registrar, 6 friends sang at the ceremony and her twin sister and mum walked the bride down the aisle it was lovely
An initial meeting for you to tell me about your wedding and for me to go through how we work on the day, then answer any questions you have. A pre-wedding meet up at the venue nearer your wedding day to have a walk around the venue to get an idea of how the wedding will run and see the best places for photographs. I am always available to answer any questions you have leading up to your day. It is so important you get to know me as we are there all day ;)
There's more than 1. Personally I love the mix of the candid and then the ones of the couple that are more prompted than posed.
I had to go up in a cherry picker (while being 8 months pregnant) to capture all 350 guests in the grooms parents garden!
That's why I always do a pre-wedding meet up just in case it is too wet to go outside then let's check out some places indoors just in case. Anyway, we are at your wedding all day so we usually get a chance to go out at some point. We are always happy to get out and around the venue so I do recommend buying a pair of 'wedding wellies' or something so you can still have some fun photos outside. Some venues will have a golf buggy to get us all around the muddy bits and I love an umbrella shot. If it rains then lets capture that memory too and make it fun, but it's up to the couple and how they feel on the day.
I studied photography at college then went on to do a photography degree. I spent 5 years as an assistant for magazine and fashion photographers and then went travelling for 2 years, selling my travel photographs. Then once my two kids came along it was time to settle down in one place and weddings just seemed the most natural next step. I haven't looked back....it's been 20 years since I photographed my first wedding!!
