What is your most memorable wedding?
Every wedding has it's own memorable elements! More often than not it's an incredible couple, but sometimes details like the dress or the cake are total one offs and have us talking about them for months (or years!) afterwards.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
candid, creative, contemporary, photojournalistic, fun
What about your business are you most proud of?
The fact that every couple are treated as individuals. We don't offer one size fits all coverage and never shoot the same venue in the same way. To us, it's about creating memories as unique to the couple as they are.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't get bogged down with tradition for traditions sake, or the idea of what a wedding should be. You don't need to have bridesmaids, or a cake or a white dress if you don't want them. Similarly, if you want to include lots of traditional elements, do! You can still have a unique and personal wedding with all of those things. Ultimately, if you want something, go for it and if you don't leave it behind. Make your wedding about you and your husband or wife to be.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Pets at weddings will always win! They're part of the family, we love it when you include them!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From the initial point of enquiry we ensure that every couple is met with enthusiasm and professionalism. We genuinely love what we do, so we take a great interest in getting to know our couples and hearing more about their plans. It's important to us that we're the right fit for your day so chatting details and hopes and dreams is a must! From there, if a couple decide that they'd like to book, bookings can be completed online. Throughout the planning stages we're always at the other end of an email to offer advice, recommendations for other suppliers or just an ear to bend. Around a month before the wedding we'll confirm all final details for the day, such a timings and we're all set! On the day itself we'll arrive with plenty of time to capture all the golden moments, fading into the background and allowing the day to unfold naturally. Post wedding, images are typically processed and delivered no more than 3 weeks after the big day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
There isn't one! There are no "shoulds".
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
An umbrella and a don't care attitude. You can create some amazing rain shots, as long as you're willing to embrace it.
