What is your most memorable wedding?
In my photography career spanning over 10 years there has honestly been far too many amazing highlights to choose just one. From the mountains of Glencoe, a French Chateau, Norfolk coastal vibes, Suffolk festival weddings to the rich history in Cambridge. I've loved each one.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Authentic, Natural, Unposed, Earthy & Sustainable.
What about your business are you most proud of?
My sustainable ethos. I plant a tree in my own UK wild wedding grove for every booking I take. I’m also an avid birdwatcher in my spare time and all my product packaging is sustainably sourced, compostable & recyclable. I have been awarded several photography accolades, my work has featured in national and local UK press and online wedding blogs throughout my career.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number 1 wedding planning tip is to start planning your wedding early and knowing your budget is key. Your favourite suppliers book as soon as you can, some (like myself) only cover one wedding per day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
When couples donate to charities close to their heart for wedding favours.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couples can contact me anytime, we usually also zoom ahead of their wedding too.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The most important aspect of wedding photography for me is about being able to relive your wedding day through beautiful photos. It’s about capturing the important details of the day, those moments you didn’t even know happened, seeing the excitement on the faces of the your family and friends & above all having authentic images that evoke those amazing memories. Nothing can beat that.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
MY STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY CENTRES AROUND TELLING THE STORY OF YOUR DAY AUTHENTICALLY BY CAPTURING BOTH THE CALM AND THE CHAOS IN THEIR ESSENCE, AS EVENTS UNFOLD THROUGHOUT YOUR WEDDING.
An immersive collection of creatively captured images will convey the unique story of your celebrations many years from now. So if you are planning a free-flowing wedding and searching for a natural Norfolk wedding photographer to document your day as it unfolds, be sure to say hello.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace it, some of the most magical shots have been when newlyweds and their guests have embraced the weather.
Describe how you got into photography.
In the beginning my photography career was firmly rooted in wildlife and portraits. I still photograph wildlife in my spare time.
