Symbolic ways of including loved ones in a service when they can no longer be there in person.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Normally an email will arrive in my inbox (always love getting new enquiries), check my diary to see that I am available. Email clients back to say if I am available and asking for details of their special day. Normally couples have viewed my packages beforehand so have an idea of what package they would like. I check if there is anything different about their day that they would like included. I prepare and send them a quotation. If the couple are keen to proceed I normally arrange a voice or video chat with the couple so they can get to meet me and check that we would all get along, and answer any questions that they may have. If everything is good I would ask the couple to pay a small deposit to secure the date for them. Depending on how long in advance the wedding is I will check in with the couple and confirm exact details and again answer any questions. A few days before I will text the couple and check everything is OK and wish them luck and confirm I will see them soon.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I don't believe that Np.1 photo is the same for everyone and that is why I like natural candid style because it captures beautiful moments that can't be posed and forced.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
A bride's little daughter posing in the mirror holding up her mum's wedding dress!!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Wellies and a brightly coloured umbrella
