Louise Smith Photography Full Description
As a former staff newspaper photographer I am able to tell the story of your day as it happens. Key moments, natural, relaxed photos of the day as it happens is my style. I aim to tell the story of your big day with details, moments and thoughtful photographs. Photography Cover Packages are either for half day (3-4 hours) or full day cover (8-10 hours). Extra hours are agreed before the day via contract. Parent Albums, Prints and Photobooks are chargeable extras. All packages include a free consultation and unlimited photographs taken on the day. A typical wedding is at least 250 photographs edited. Engagement Shoots available. Packages from £1100 I cover Northampton, Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, Mileage outside of Northants/Bucks charged as extra.

It’s usually the smaller hidden details the bride or groom organise behind the scenes eg keepsakes and surprise moments

Personal, I'm not a one size fits all. Informal chat, set dates/photo ideas, venue reccy, engagement shoot, wedding, photo collection/reveal

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A decent portrait of themselves! Its all about you as a couple, make sure you are in some together as it soon flies by!

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

These days - selfie ones! These will soon become the original....

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Have fun, dont sweat the small stuff, cloudy weather is the best for weddings - great light. Honestly! We love a rainy wedding.

Describe how you got into photography.

Since I was a teenager studying photography (i'm not giving away my age now though!), working as a staff newspaper photographer now freelance.
