Having photographed hundreds of weddings over the years, I can honestly say that every single one has left me with a special memory.

I love being more than just a photographer. I genuinely enjoy supporting my brides and grooms, offering reassurance, helping with the little things and being someone they can rely on throughout their special day.

I put my heart into every wedding I photograph, capturing everything from the big emotional moments to the smallest details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

For me, it’s about so much more than taking beautiful photographs. It’s about telling the story of their day, capturing real emotions and creating memories they can treasure forever.

And when my couples receive their photographs, I don’t just want them to be happy. I want them to be absolutely amazed, to feel those emotions all over again and see moments they didn’t even realise I’d captured.

My number one wedding planning tip is to remember that it’s your day, so make it about the two of you!

It’s so easy to get caught up in trying to please everyone, worrying about the little details and making everything perfect. But the most beautiful weddings I’ve photographed are always the ones where couples relax, embrace the moment and genuinely enjoy themselves.

Having photographed hundreds of weddings, I’ve learnt that things don’t always go exactly to plan, and that’s absolutely fine! Sometimes those unexpected moments become the most wonderful memories.

Surround yourselves with people you love, choose suppliers you trust and allow yourselves time to enjoy the day together.

Having photographed hundreds of weddings, I’ve seen so many beautiful personal touches, and it’s often the simplest things that mean the most.

My favourites are always those little details that tell a couple’s story, whether it’s a photograph of a loved one who couldn’t be there, a meaningful piece of jewellery, a handwritten letter or a special tribute to someone they’ve lost.

I also love seeing couples include their personalities in their day, making their wedding truly their own rather than simply following tradition.

I love getting to know my couples, hearing about your plans and understanding what matters most to you. Before your wedding, we’ll discuss timings, special moments and any photographs you’d particularly love.

On the day, my approach is natural, relaxed and unobtrusive. I’ll capture genuine emotions, laughter and all those beautiful little details, while gently guiding you through portraits when needed.

I’m always happy to offer support and advice, going that little bit further than simply being your photographer.

After your wedding, I’ll carefully select and edit your images to tell the beautiful story of your day.

My goal is simple: to make your day even more enjoyable and create photographs that make you fall in love with your wedding all over again! ❤️

There are so many images I feel are No.1 but to spend some time with my couple so they can chat to each other and have some time alone- if only for ten minutes or so -has to be my No.1. It allows the couple to be relaxed and have a 'catch up' before the next chapter of the day begins.

My biggest advice is not to let the weather spoil your special day! Some of the most beautiful and romantic wedding photographs I’ve captured have been on rainy days.

I always recommend having a backup plan for outdoor photographs, but also being a little flexible. A beautiful umbrella, a sheltered doorway or even a few minutes between showers can create some truly magical moments.

Having photographed hundreds of weddings, I’ve learnt to adapt to whatever the British weather throws at us!

Most importantly, embrace the day, enjoy every moment and don’t worry about things you can’t control. Rain doesn’t ruin a wedding, and sometimes those unexpected moments become the most memorable.
