What is your photography style?
My style is natural, emotive and unobtrusive. I focus on capturing real moments as they happen, stepping in with gentle guidance during portraits so everything feels relaxed rather than staged. Nothing is forced — your day unfolds naturally, and I document it with care.
We’re not very comfortable in front of the camera — is that a problem?
Not at all. Most couples tell me this at first. My approach is calm and supportive, giving you light direction where needed while keeping everything conversational and relaxed. You won’t be asked to perform — just to be yourselves. That’s when the best images happen. Some couples also choose a prewedding shoot to get themselves more comfortable ready for their big day, as well as a great opportunity to get to know me better and feel more comfortable with me around doing my thing.
Will you help us with the timeline?
Absolutely. A well-planned timeline protects your experience. I’ll help shape your schedule so there’s space for beautiful imagery without pulling you away from your guests for long periods. The goal is always balance — stunning photos without missing your own celebration.
How involved are you on the wedding day?
I’m present and attentive, but never overwhelming. I’ll organise group photos efficiently, guide you through portraits with ease, and then quietly document everything else as it unfolds. Couples often say they felt supported, but never directed.
Do you pose couples?
I prefer to guide rather than pose. I’ll suggest natural movement or positioning and then allow moments to happen organically. This creates images that feel genuine and elegant, rather than rigid or overly styled.
What if we need a quiet moment away from guests?
That’s something I’m very mindful of. If I sense you need a breather, I can naturally create space — often under the guise of a short portrait session — giving you a few minutes together to reset and soak it all in.
How do you handle nerves on the morning of the wedding?
With calm energy and reassurance. I arrive in good time, settle into the atmosphere and gently build comfort with everyone around me. Often it only takes a few minutes of conversation before the nerves soften and the day begins to feel exciting rather than overwhelming.
