Sarah and Sam at the Alverbank Hotel Gosport. Sarah has to be one of the happiest Brides I have ever photographed, always laughing.
Discrete, journalistic, abstract, artistic and a few traditional group shots of course.
Attention to detail plus being early and not leaving until the Bride and groom are happy.
Don't leave things until the last minute.
The Grooms speech where he says thank you to his new wife.
First a visit to discuss ideas, if possible a visit to the Church and or venue. I have a list of photos and give one to the best man and an usher to help with the photo order. During the day I have a few chats with the couple to ask if they would like something they hadn't though of before.
A backlit first dance processed to black and white.
The Bride and her Maids jumping up and down on the bed.
Big umbrellas lots of them, but they need to be all the same, white preferably.
Since 8 years old I have had a camera. At a car boot sale I was selling an old film camera. No one wanted the camera but kept asking how much for the photos I had displayed showing what the camera could do. It was then I realised it wasn't the camera but myself that had taken these photos.
