I’m Gemma — a Liverpool-based wedding photographer who believes your photos should feel like your day, not a photoshoot.
I capture the real stuff — the laughter that makes your cheeks hurt, the teary hugs, the confetti chaos, and yes, even Uncle Geoff’s best dance moves. Nothing forced, nothing stiff — just honest, joy-filled moments as they happen.
My goal? To help you actually enjoy your wedding day while I quietly capture every little bit of magic you might miss in the whirlwind. When you look back, I want you to feel it all again — every smile, every tear, every “oh my God, that actually happened!” moment.
If that sounds like the vibe you’re after, I’d love to hear all about your plans.

I've loved each and every one of my weddings. They are all unique in their own way. Being an animal lover, one of my most memorable weddings, was at the Wellbeing Fram in Bolton. The couple were fab, the venue so welcoming and being able to take pictures with all of the animals, made it something really different.
Natural, candid, in the moment, fun, relaxed with limited stress!
I'm most proud of setting up my wedding photography business on my own, and making a success of it!
Get one of your bridesmaids or groomsman to help get friends and family needed for your photos. Makes it much easier as they will likely know your guests.
There are so many to mention. I think the ones that stand out most are the personalised table decorations. Whether that be Lego characters, a couple's' pet dog made out of icing or photos of the couple throughout the years, there's loads of personal touches that you can add to your big day!
After a couple enquires, I will generally respond via email with any overview of any details they have asked for. Moving forward we would arrange to have a quick phone call to discuss their exciting plans and see which package is right for them. If they would like to make a booking, I send over my contract for them to sign, and payment details for the deposit to secure their day. Nearer to the big day, I will arrange a Zoom call so that we can go through all of their timings and plans in detail. During the entire process, I am always on hand for advice and easily contactable on the phone or via email.
Confetti! It's my favourite image!
The bride and groom with their heads in stocks!
I always come equipped with my wedding umbrella, if you want to brave the rain!
As a child, my Dad was a photographer and converted our garage into a dark room. I always loved watching the process of taking an image, through to it being developed, and used to watch him at work.
