A pagan blessing at Stonehenge a few years ago.
Unflappable. Polite. Calm. Focused. Witty.
I am not just a wedding photographer so I enjoy the opportunity to attend a happy event and supply images that reflect this.
Make sure you can get on with the photographer. Having minimal prior communication and then a double-sided A4 list of 'must have' shots on the day is not ideal. It is preferable to have built up a rapport before so I have an idea how to obtain the images that you really want.
A parachutist landing and handing over a military sword for the cutting of the cake (Heath and Safety meant the sword was hidden in his landing zone) but it was impressive.
Communication is key so we have telephone calls and at least one face to face meet prior to the day.
No definitive shot but it is always nice to obtain a relaxed shot of the couple away from the crowd.
Not terribly original but the bride wearing wellie boots with her flowing white dress under an umbrella with her groom. It was a wet day and we could only laugh.
An umbrella and a sense of humour. Agree a plan B.
An interest at school which was nurtured by a teacher who saw a genuine spark. Decided against Uni and set up in business after Sixth Form.
