One from a couple of years ago in the middle of a heatwave! Swelteringly hot but provided us with some great photo opportunities.
My style is definitely easy-going... I much prefer natural candids but I'm equally at home doing the 'standard' posed shots.
I'm most proud of the feedback I get from couples after the event, where they've really appreciated my flexibility. I regularly go beyond the booked time slot, as things are running late...
My number 1 tip would be to book the Venue (Church or otherwise) and Photographer as soon as you can! Photographers do get booked quite early!
My favourite personal touch was when a couple invited me to actually eat at their reception! May be a little thing, but it certainly helped maintain my energy levels for the rest of the day.
I like to meet with a couple beforehand, to discuss their day, but also so that they can get to meet me and not feel uneasy on the actual day itself.
The first kiss :) And the glance when the Groom (or Bride) sees his (or her) wife to be for the first time.
I think the most original photo I've been asked to take was me lying on the floor and having a crowd of people in like a rugby scrum crowding over me.
A marquee is invaluable. Failing that, umbrellas!
I started off photographing New Borns in the days of film.
