What is your most memorable wedding?
One of my first big proper weddings at Hedingham Castle - what an amazing venue and an amazing experience!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Not-Very-Serious-Likes-Cake
(OK not 5 adjectives....)
What about your business are you most proud of?
Doing most of the business management myself, I know, it sounds sad, but I'm proud of marketing, doing my tax returns, sorting my insurance out etc. I'm also proud that I can pay my bills by being me :)
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't get bogged down in the details, the day is about you and your love for each other - everything else is just atmosphere :)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Bottles of home made sloe gin at each table!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My life evolves around food... so we'll probably meet for a coffee and a chat (biscuits and cake) - before you book - so we know we are right for each other.
Once you've booked, then we'll meet about a month before the wedding (more biscuits and cake) - if you've got a pre-wedding shoot then we'll do this at some point between booking and the pre-wedding chat (ice-creams on the beach / pic-nic in the park)
Then the wedding day happens (canapes - which I try desperately not to eat!)
After the wedding, if you've got a USB then that will be ready to collect or be delivered (more coffee / biscuits / cake - probably)
I'm probably not good for anyone on a diet!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
Bride in the toilet with her Bridesmaids holding up her dress. I wasn't there for actual weewee time - it was just the act of everyone holding the dress up!
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Colourful umbrellas and wellys - embrace the fact we live in England :D
