I believe it is a privilege to be invited to take photographs at your wedding and I welcome the opportunity to get to know you a little before the “big day”. I want the photographs to suit your personalities and style. I prefer an informal meeting beforehand to discuss your requirements. I want you to be relaxed, confident and comfortable with me on your special day. I will always try to visit the location for your wedding in advance to plan where the best photographs can be taken. The digital photographic process allows me to shoot quickly and covertly, covering the event in a documentary style, shooting several hundred shots during the day. I believe that this reportage style needs to be complemented with some traditional shots and I can provide both styles or either one. This can be discussed in advance so your preferences can be accommodated. On the day itself, I work creatively, calmly and quickly, controlling large groups with ease and humour, yet still capturing those intimate moments.
